Introduction: Morgellons disease (MD) is a contested dermopathy that is associated with Borrelia spirochetal infection. A simple classification system was previously established to help validate the disease based on clinical features (classes I-IV).
Methods: Drawing on historical and pathological parallels with syphilis, we formulated a more detailed staging system based on clinical features as well as severity of skin lesions and corresponding histopathological infection patterns, as determined by anti-Borrelia immunohistochemical staining.
Results: Clinical classes I-IV of MD are further categorized as mild, moderate and severe, or stages A, B and C, respectively, based on histopathological findings. Stage A lesions demonstrated little or no immune infiltrates and little or no disorganization of cells; macrophages were not present, and hemorrhage was negligible. Extracellular isolated spirochetes and intracellular staining of keratinocytes in the lower epidermis was occasionally seen. Stage C lesions demonstrated positive staining of keratinocytes in the stratum basale and stratum spinosum and positive intracellular staining of macrophages for Borrelia. Aggregate Borrelia colonies were frequently encountered, hemorrhage was frequent, and intracellularly stained fibroblasts were occasionally seen. Stage B lesions demonstrated a pattern intermediate between Stages A and C.
Conclusion: The enhanced staging system provides objective criteria to assess the severity of dermopathy in MD. Further studies are needed to determine the optimal treatment for MD based on this staging system related to Borrelia infection.

Everyone here dealing with morgellons, I feel you. Back in 2013 I woke up. Two things happened to wake me up; chemtrails and morgellons. It was INSANE!! But I’m preaching to the choir. My anger at my helplessness at effecting a cure for morgellons that kept me occupied with searching for them, disinfecting, washing clothes, showering, bathing, throwing things away! I was miserable as well as my family. I’m free from all of this! No one will want to hear this but there’s a huge spiritual fight. This disease is straight from the pits of hell. I finally confided in my therapist and a very strong Christian at the church I was going to and we prayed and fought and rebuked and found scripture; and then, at some point, they were gone. I showered with Nizarol, borax and a small amount of bleach. I put drops of tea tree oil and borax in my bath. Everything was as hot as I could stand. And I was bedding everyday. Clothes came off after work and straight in the wash. I used lice spray on the furniture and vacuumed everything almost everyday. Like I said “I feel you” pray. Confess to God any bitterness and hate. Find things to be thankful about. Love your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. Get healthy emotionally and physically. Don’t drink or smoke. Believe in the power of Christ Jesus to heal you from this and He will. You don’t have to listen to me or take my word for it. Seek Christ for your self; for peace, for freedom…🙏🏼
I think although I'm using the SSKI meds it's lucky I gave up smoking and drinking too and being honest I kicked class A's as well I am 6 months clean - I will pray and continue a new faith in God regardless of how many people think I'm deluded for doing so .. there is a positivity in having faith mind over matter is certainly not something to be scoffed at

My story. (You can take it or leave it.) Years ago I worked for a company in a very large building (held about 2000 employees). I started working there and had unbelievable scratching (to the point where I couldn't even fall asleep at night). It also felt like bugs were crawling on me. I had stinging sensations in my skin. I also had forgetfulness,etc. A co-worker of mine who had even worse symptoms than me (she actually went to have a liver biopsy done), said to me, "don't you know what this is?" I said no. She said they are pulling up all of the carpets in this building, and we are basically breathing in whatever is under these carpets (mold, glues, carpet fibers, etc.) and breathing in the new carpets' glues, fibers, etc. Mind you, this was a huge building. The ventilation was horrible, and on top of that it was taking MONTHS for them to rip up and put this carpet down. I finally ended up at an allergist's office. He told me that it was probably something I was breathing in there and to get out of that building as soon as I could. One thing I want to mention here before I go on is that although I believed it was something I was breathing in there, I also believe it was something related to the floor or rugs itself because the predominance of itching was on the legs and ankles. I did what my allergist told me and got out of that building. I would say that it took my body at least 5 months for whatever I was exposed to there to leave my system. I want to also mention that there was a fellow I worked with that told me that he also had symptoms - he had to increase his inhaler amounts. And others complained also about itching, etc. I can only say, folks, is that I believe this is either a horrendous toxic fungus, a toxic new fiber they are now using in carpets, a toxic rug glue, or toxic mold. I'm going more with this being toxic mold, fungus or rug glue. The reason why I believe this is because even years later after being out of that building it almost seemed that whatever this was, there was still a little remaining even in my car's carpet (when I would get in my car I would feel the stinging again) particularly if it was hot or humid. So that's my story. Maybe it may help in this horrendous disorder. My suggestion to those studying this disorder, is to investigate the carpets, carpet fibers, carpet glues, molds under the carpets, etc to see if there is a pattern amongst those suffering

I had this disease for 7 months. I did not sleep eat. Went to skin doctors my family physician no one believed me and neither did my family. I still have the scars on my body. I quit smoking cigarettes started a strict diet of healthy foods and stayed locked in my home for 2 weeks and thankfully it went away. I would not wish this disease or whatever it is on my worst enemy. It drove me to my breaking point of insanity. If you have this or think you have it stop your every day activities and act like a health nut for a few weeks and hang in there mentally.
@@hisuphi8601 . First how are your sleeping hours. Make sure you get alot, and I mean alot of rest it's very hard trying to sleep with all that moving sensation and constant itching. Next if you do any type of drugs stop that. That includes cigarettes. I didn't stop smoking all the way just cut back to about half a pack a day. Take your vitamins eat fruit. What stage are you in at this moment. What is coming out of your body. So you have the strings that move or the flora and fauna. Or do you have the bugs or dust balls. Let me know what you are experiencing. Please it imperative that you remain strong willed because it breaks you mentally and emotionally.

@@hisuphi8601 was at work earlier, just got home but yes I'm better. Still have the scars on my legs and arms where those strings were coming out of. That was my beginning stage also were the strings. Do you have these round sores that don't seem to heal. I use to pull those strings out and put them in a clear bottle to show my family and I videoed one ounce to show the doctor. The nurse's couldn't believe what I was showing them but got no reaction from the doctor though. It's strange but when I pulled a live string out it would only stay moving for about an hour and a half before it quit. On cleaning your house. I called exterminator to spray mine repainted the whole place but nothing seemed to help. I went to store bought a bottle of melotonein and slept for 2 weeks ate healthy and mine went away. I understand each of us has different schedules we must abide by. I'm always open to chat and be there for support. I'm from Fayetteville NC. What State are you in.
@@hisuphi8601 when I went doctors just ignored me and when I mentioned morgellons they told me there was nothing else they could do for me. I even went to the dermatologist with a string in a container. They said they sent it to their lab and when I came back for next appointment they said it's just a thread but I knew better but who's going to believe something half the world has never herd of before. I mentioned morgellons to them and they told me not to come back. Do you have that crawling sensation where those strings are coming out of. I spent all hours days and nights trying to seek help but never found none. I found there's a few clinic's in certain states that specializes in morgellons. I didn't have time or funds to go traveling to them. I took baths in rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, I found a video where someone suggested alfalfa cubes, but to no avail. do you have family support or are they standoffish like mine were. After first stage with me I started having yellow and red strings and this wierd liberty bell looking stick with a leaf on it. I'm really hesatent to mention everything because it sounds really crazy. I truly hope something I've suggested will work for you cause I wouldn't wish morgellons on my worst enemy. I've dealt with this for over ten years now. It started as lesions around ankles and wrists. Thought it was scabies at first but after months of treatment and no positive scraping ruled that out. We were baffled. Went from 165 pds down to about 115 pds. My vitamin d was non existent but other than that blood work always comes back perfect. After taking vit d everyday for a week was finally able to get out of bed. Wouldn't believe what low vit d does to ya. After about six nths is when the crawling sensation started . And it was relentless. Nothing visible on skin but it's there. That's why they think we bonkers. The crawling sensation is from the fibers moving around sometimes in order which makes it feel like something is crawling up your bad or down your face. We know there's nothing there but we still feel it. We not crazy. Any other time big pharma would be making Huge money off me and others but no one wonders why they don't. I vividly remember when I went hiking with my sister to some cali mountains in 2014, a day later after I got back I started experiencing strange itching fits. It only got worse, as every time I felt itching it also felt like bugs were crawling under my skin and the summer heat only made it worse. I can only describe the sensation as squirmy and viral, like your a walking disease thats gonna burst into parasites. 3rd day in I noticed the fibers coming out in small clumped hive like rashes on random spots of my body but more focused on my arms. The fibers can be compared to my arm hairs and they were clearly different. This was in summer vacation so i stayed home those 4 days growing more and more lethargic and hazy with each passing day. By the fourth day, I knew something was wrong. I felt sick but it wasn't a sick I had ever felt before, I was burning up with a delirious fever but all I could do was just lay on my bed watch TV with a itchy fibery haze that kept me from doing anything but just lay there. My mom came in and noticed i looked like death so she took me to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctors didn't know what was wrong with me. They drew blood for tests but they came back negative. I told them how I felt, my hiking story and I pointed out the strange foreign hairs and asked what it was, they never told me or my mom what it was or even what was wrong with me. By their medical standards I was technically fine and healthy, but face to face I was not ok at the time. They kept me under observation for a bit, gave me some ibuprofen for the fever I technically didn't actually have according to them, then sent me home with some more ibuprofen. The way it was all handled was strange to me. Getting back home I still had the itching fits every now and then but no more delirious fever. But here comes the weirdest part, I dealt with the itching and the foreign fibers for the rest of the summer but by the end of summer the skin from my feet and hands was starting to peel off the same way a snake molts it's skin and gets new skin. The molting stopped near my knees and mid forearm, after that.... process the itching stopped and the fibers stopped growing out of me but i was left with a scar from one of the clusters on my arm. Maybe it like, combined with me like a real life symbiote.

i am still quite young and i have noticed white fibres all over my body.. i felt extremely strong itching and tingling feeling where it was really annoying and i couldn’t sleep. no one believed me so i went to see a doctor and they wanted to diagnose me with psychological disorder… i have many photos and videos of these white fibres coming out of my entire body!!! what is this? i am really worried please someone reach out

Morgellons doesn't like water when it's hot as you can stand and I use an exfoliating cloth daily to scrub it out. In the shower you can literally feel it jumping off! I believe the heat changes the chemistry of the Morgellons goo, making less sticky.

@@DaveKavalLV I have a microscope. With 400-600x zoom you can see those fibers. Im not going to claim they are any sort of nano technology but what they are they do exist and Its difficult to find answers anywhere. I suggest you to check for example your palm with microscope and see yourself.
However I found more of them again and not sure if my diet and dropping alcohol really helped after all. I keep on studying.

Is Morgellon’s disease only described from Borrellia infestation? Are there other cases correlating to idiopathic or other infectious etiologies (bacterial, fungal, parasitic?)
It's all of the above... Xcept this thing is highly intelligent. Mimics. Lives throughout all weather hot or cold. Is and can be spread through you washer and dryer, your kitchen sink, the sponge on your sink, your floors, beddings, couchs, car.....so on so forth... and however they want you to deal with this Corona thinggy, well, do the same.

If you shower with some sort of scrubber and disinfect ur washer and dryer b4 use, place a small blanket where u sit at at home, you'll be fine. Just know this. Some of ur friends or family member may be more infected than u r. They'll be reinfecting u. I usually tell my family members I have bad breath. Other than that, clean ur house, make Shure to not dust but wipe away the dust. And clean the shower and toilette at least 2x per week... O 1 more thing, it's not dust. Dust is what they are....

last night I pulled a tiny red thread out from under the skin on the top of my leg. I kept it and have inspected it under magnification. It is not a hair or piece of skin. I cannot understand how it got there or what it is.

That was amazing thank you. So I guess this is an evidence enough? So I'm assuming the typical antibiotic treatment doesn't work. And the burning, itching, and crawling sensations described would make a person appear to have psychiatric issues. So some kind of treatment for the bacteria, and treatment for topical infection of open wounds, steroids, and maybe removal of large cysts? I've heard end stage usually involves lung symptoms. Ty for studying this. Because with the large number of people having this we will see more of it very soon.

I've been dealing with morgellons disease since December of 2020 I live in Bakersfield California and have been to several doctors I bought a microscope that is 1600 x magnification and show them the pictures that I took of the fibers red ones blue ones black ones white ones and every single one of the doctors diagnosed me with delusion of parasites I've attracted springtail s and have been infested for several months now nobody takes me serious my family believes me they've even came to doctor's appointments with me and told the doctors that this is an infection not a delusion my question is how do I get help I have diabetes and I'm worried about infection please help
My dad has dealt with Springtails in gardens. He mentioned them in this situation with regards to the red swine spit test. Similar movements of organisms when alcohol or Hydrogen peroxide is added to the contaminated wine.
It’s like the doctors are in allowed to talk about it! I wish they had told me that before I spent thousands of dollars going to them.

I do wonder at times could it all be in my head but then I have a stinging burning pain and a long hair pops out of my foot or shoulder etc or what looks like an insect or flea my skin them takes on the consistency of oatmeal and I think I wish this was just my imagination or that I'm crazy but its real and its slowly killing me

I have the same things .... get a microcscope so you know what your dealing with. I pull them out they have not grown back and it's been months. Incubator is a good discription. Itching burning is coming out so cocoon can come out to hatch. You'll get a sore if left alone the skin falls off the worm is underneath already hatched.

Paula, if you need help here it is. Buy Lysol liquid. Use it on paper towel and wipe in a circle pattern in or downward and around the back or base of your washer and dryer b4 every load..... Wipe your counters b4 using it, and when you shower, do this from head to toe, scrubb scalp Everytime. Most importantly use a scrubber like the ones you find at the dollar store. Green pad. Cut it down to the size of 2 fingers. Use it to scrubb head to toe, the dispose it in the trash. These things are either fungi or a certain type of mites. Now after you have showered, using your first towel, dry your hair and second towel, SCRUBB YOUR SELF HEAD TO TOE. ONE SIDE OF TOWEL FOR ONE SIDE OF YOUR BODY, THE OTHER SIDE FOR THE BACK SIDE. ... THEN RINSE YOUR BODY DOWN AND RUBB EVERYWHERE AS YOU RINSE. This will work, 2x dayly. Showers should no longer dreadfully.
This thing will not die off of bleech. It will live in super hot tempture. It will survive super cold.

I’m in uk. Something odd is going on me my sisters and others loosing hair and teeth. Even my daughter is loosing hair.
Bloods seem to be showing too many red cells. My flat keeps getting what feels like biting mites. I’ve lost count of things I’ve sling out and replaced. Weirdly if you freeze an item it will stop annoying you if defrosted a week or so later makes me think it’s tiny but alive.
Mites ? Now we’re all getting sick too morgellons and Lyme are related ? Maybe. Also the air vents are full of brown molds which is another problem but mites attract to that. Also some mold dust makes you itch and can feel like bites. If I hover lots it helps but problem back by day or two later. Bed bug sprays help a bit. Kleen green may but only just started that. I’m coughing up weird bits dark colour tiny dots. I’m sick now feel tired all time, under my skin I see weird blue and red lines tiny but just under skin. My sister had something weird growing in her back and had it removed drs had no idea what it was yet when dr was out room she see morgellons listed on paperwork ! Smart dust ? Mites ? Toxic mold ?It’s just weird all of it . I sleep all time weird. If you leave say bathroom floor a couple of days b4 cleaning then damp some tissue it’s covered in whatever these tiny itchy dots are. I have a completely smashed in leg from riding my mountain bike & falling hard & fast into a giant hole. I have 2 caregivers right now. They went and got the "pokey poke" & no I'm not an anti-vaxxer. Not getting this one though. Don't know if you've heard but you can get side effects from people who have had it, especially two out of two pokes from their skin flaking off & hair falling out, etc. Well I woke up one morning and felt like a spider had bitten me or something with huge fangs. It hurt!
I looked at the area of my wrist and it looked like a big fanged bite. I assumed it was a spider. I just hoped it wouldn't come back. Later it started itching like crazy. To me it felt like worms were crawling in my arm. Then I got two large sized holes in different areas of my arm. Everything was itching so bad then all sudden on TV a Dr said Manuka Honey is a great antibacterial. I ordered some to be there the next day on Amazon. It was 20+. Not cheap. When I got to the doctor she looks at it and said I have some kind of bacteria she wasn't sure of but gave me antibiotics to start. She said it could be an infestation but she wanted to be cautious & to come back in two days. I got the antibiotics but that night was still miserable. I wanted to jump out the window literally and I would have if the Manuka Honey hadn't arrived. I had to used it for DIY facials before and what it does to your skin is unbelievable. Well, it worked! I know this was Morgellons. Because of my two caregivers & everything that has been described about Morgellons. I didn't see any wiry colorful things but I have a feeling I would have if I hadn't put the honey on it. If those wire things are dying in my arm and something happens, like my arm falls off, well I know I can't sue the "poke" companies but I might just try anyway. First get a petition. I know people will sign it. Then try to get as many people as humanly possible to go to the Supreme Court. Even if we lose, 1st people that have Morgellons will know what to do & it will give people hope. Especially b/c once I start something to help people or animals I become obsessed and I don't stop. This is worth fighting for 20 years b/c this "poke" is seriously dangerous even if you don't get it. Ask yourself, what are they trying to do to people? Update... So if you feel itchy and biting after showering, and you have already changed into an outfit. And is still getting biting on your back and stuff, take off the shirt and SCRUBBBBBSBB your back with a small face towel (run hot water over the edge of the towel first then scrubb). To all, bere with me... If you the reader feels like he/she needs help with this... Take a deep breath. So I been studying this for a year, looking up videos, doing lots of research... And thank God for Corona.. social distancing of about 10 feet should be the norm for this but it's an airborne disease so ahh yeah ..... You need info if your still reading. Anyways this disease has been out since and maybe b4 the civil war here in America. This have to be the ultimate super smart bug that have live throughout time. It can withstand super super heat and super freezing cold... I can mimic scabies, herpies, exima, rash and anything on you that may be poking you... Sux... because they're eating you. But here's the simple fix to this. Xcept it's not so simple... First thing to do, buy a couple tubes of rash or itchy meds. Then clean and make Shure your house is dusted. Fans on ceilings should be wiped with disinfectant. Now before you use your washer, using disinfectant wipes.... Wipe the inside of your washer until there's no fibers left. This should take 3 to 5 minutes 5 minutes b4 every load... do the same thing in the inside of the dryer. Use rubbing alcohol on a paper towel works too b4 every load. Meanwhile, your dish washing scrubber... Your kitchen sink... Wipe down the front of it and use gloves when handling dishes.

It's usually a 1 time use but due to this Corona pandemic, time usage should be no more than 2 hours. For masks that needs to be washed, please spray with disinfectant then wash it in hot water.
