Oh my those vintage chair's at 2.50 were a steel. The vintage cherrywood china cabinet was stunning to put all those blue and white pieces together making it all a set, even though the style was different. The vintage pieces look amazing because of there legs, just can't get over it. Kelly I just love those restores you go to and thank you for sharing.

Outstanding pieces! For years I enjoyed buying furniture there to refinish and sell. A Wayfair shipping warehouse opened near my local Restore Store and they regularly donate truckloads of items to that Restore Store. It's always fun to investigate those items but I do miss the older, solid wood donations. They usually only have 8 to 12 older pieces. Future generations will not have the opportunity to refinsh as much furniture, pressed wood and flat-stack pieces will not 'stand the test of time'.

@@comegowithmetoday ... if you ever have time and are near Atlanta GA the one I mentioned is about :40 south via I75, less than ⅕ mile off exit 218. It's the only Restore Store in McDonough. (Actual address: 1465 GA-20, McDonough GA 30253). Since "19" happened it's only open to the public Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11to 4. Apparently Wayfair donates so much they need staff to help unload, sort, inventory, tag and arrange everything. (They are open for pickups re prepaid items on Tuesday and Wednesday.) I have actually observed 2 huge trailers being unloaded, I doubt 3 would fit. I recently stopped painting furniture. I am searching for a home to purchase and that leaves little free time. I have several pieces of furniture in the garage but I have to relocate. I have experienced 3 B&Es this year. My priority is a safer home. Painting furniture is therapeutic but I anticipate walls, ceilings, removing texture from ceilings, unpacking, etc will take precedence for many months.

That plantation desk is EVERYTHING! I love it so much, if I were there I'd rent a U-haul to get it home. And then be blasted by my sons as they moved it up the rickety stairs and cried, "Mom! Where are you going to put it???" I've always wanted one, and this desk is by far the most beautiful I've ever seen. I lament my Restore is nothing compared to yours, but maybe that's a good thing? Nah, I want that desk🥰

Here it is...my DIY pick of the day and what I'd do with it. The sofa table at 13:46. It has a sloped raised edge on the top. Leave it the same color, or refinish it to an ivory color. Fill the entire top with a solid layer of coffee beans and put a glass top over it. Put some small corner brackets on the two back corners to keep the glass in place. Now you have a one of a kind coffee/tea bar. Fill the drawers with K-cups, tea bags, hot cocoa and cider packets, napkins, and a bottle opener. Hang a shelf over it to keep your favorite mugs. Put a small wine rack on the bottom shelf of the table for 3 bottles of wine.

The cabinet is probably the base for a Victrola record player. The slots/shelfs are to hold 78 RPM records. My grandfather had one.
I wonder if this ReStore would ship? I love that first sewing box.

Girl, go get that desk! It's gorgeous! I also loved all of the vintage books. And I would love to have that chaise lounger, it's exactly the kind I'm looking for with the arms on both sides. I loved everything about it! Those are great for cozying up with a good book! Please say a little prayer for me. I had a large kidney stone removed on Tuesday and I have a stent in my kidney and ureter. At times the pain is almost unbearable even with pain meds. The stent comes out on Saturday, ugh so much pain. But watching your videos and listening to your sweet Southern voice is very calming while I lie here recuperating. Take care! You can't really tell about sizes on video. But, the blue and white bowl looked similar to a friend has that is a wash basin and pitcher set.

I dont mind vintage but im not into many antiques...too dark and heavy.... depressing
That's part of the fun shopping here.... there's something for every style and taste at these ReStores. I love vintage and antiques, but I also love modern and farmhouse.
