Chefs Jeremy, Gavin, Ryan, and Michael are ready to sink their teeth into Overcooked: The Lost Morsel DLC. Be prepared for a whole lot of people shouting "Chop chop chop chop chop chop chop chop" and mainly just shouting in general. Ryan is the only reason they ever get anything done in this game. Like it's 30 seconds of panic until Ryan just starts giving orders.
And then they ignore his logic, 'everyone choose a vegetable and that can be their soup' followed by gavins 'ill be chopper'
Game: "Thankfully you've already tackled the main campaign so this shouldn't be a problem for you"

but why? none of their skills are relevant to the game. It'd be just like watching AH play except the kitchen staff would be bitching about how this isn't realistic.
delegating and expediting are very important skills to any kitchen staff. No doubt once the controls were learned an actual kitchen staff would be able to identify and delegate duties no problem.

As an experienced chef, trust me when I say it's kinda frustrating watching them play this game. I've played this with some of my cooking friends and we 3 star no problem once we understand the layout of the level (which takes tops 1 round if not during the first round).
I bought this game because of this series and now my wife and I enjoy screaming at each other!!

Aside from the Gents & Michael who as he puts it "fake-cooks", I trust no AH member to safely operate in the kitchen, let alone w/ sharp utensils like knifes
I'd trust Ryan with a sharp utensil - from a safe distance of course, behind various walls and at least 2 large bodies of water.

Not sure how many people cook in three separate moving trucks with the side missing, periodically going from one to the other.
Witty Euphemism most of the levels in this game are pretty normal scenarios if you take out the occasional weird map changes.

As a real life dishwasher those plates are pretty how they all look when the dishwasher gets their hands on em, so many people are fucking animals when they eat. Only things those plates are missing is a massive mound of ketchup since people insist on dumping an entire bottle on their plate when they only use a little bit and the chewed gum stuck to the underside of the plate that you have to scrape off since they are apparently physically incapable of spitting their gum into a napkin like a normal human being.
Keep in mind kids, real people have to clean those plates.
the dishes are the easy part, just drop them in hot water to soak and then scrub them later, the hard part is washing all the pans that come off the line at the end of a shift and every 4 hours or so if your place serves something like rice or potatoes
bob saget Not when you work at a place that caters up to 200+ people on top of a regular restaurant. Gotta wash 200 salad plates then before you finish that you got 200 dinner plates coming in and before you get done with that you got 200 desert plates coming in. The pots and pans are the easy part where i work.
I hate working in restaurants where the chefs don't clean the pots they burn.
What if its cloth napkins though? I know a few places that don't carry paper napkins around the silverware. Not saying its ok to put chewed gum on the bottom of the plate...that's gross. That sucks to deal with that.
I guess if they wanted to be decent to get up and go to the restroom to toss in the bin?

Technically, they have finished these types of games before. It's not too much to ask for them to finish the base game, especially since they finished the beta.

As far as I can tell, the main campaign was never completed on an episode, which is unfortunate, but I still appreciate you guys doing most of this game, and DLC, while recording. :)
The second time they did the first level was mesmerizing to watch. Their teamwork was impeccable

ethan ewing Well if you were to go ahead with the idea, you would be talking about feeding a whole bunch of people under a tight time budget, so a little more intense than regular cooking. You could also come up with some unusual cooking conditions, like one person can't leave a certain section of the kitchen, one person can only fetch ingredients/tools, sometimes things move around, things like that... but all of those conditions might lead to dangerous situations.

I find it funny how outta everyone in the crew has played this game so far, only Ryan's been in every one of the lets play. I love everyone's reactions in these, but Ryan's is the most priceless to me. lol

I'm a cook in real life so I really enjoy watching these vids. I would also very much like to see these guys do an Immersion of this game. Working in a kitchen is quite the crazy experience sometimes and I believe this game captures it pretty well.
On the end, nobody witnessed half the kitchen go down the drain.....
I'm a Funhaus fan all the way, but there is something about seeing good team work is satisfying sometimes.

I like how they sound like news reporters cuz im just imagining a bunch of news reporters trying to cook food together but write a journal on how they really need chopped meat.
This was fun at first, but now its just feeding my anxiety with all the chaos XD
I cannot describe the rage of watching them chop a thousand items and then no one pick up those damn items to cook.

I think this game would be really cool as a puzzle game. You could assign chefs to different jobs and try to maximize efficiency between them.
Michael made some ridiculously bad choices during this video. At one point there was a pot with one onion in it that was about to burst into flames, and Michael ran up to it with a chopped onion, only to panic in front of it for a few seconds, then PUT THE ONION IN ANOTHER POT.
The Jurassic park humming was so bad but you guys are hilarious
