Spain picked a team that were very concentrate on La Liga (Sorry if the name changed), they were not ready for different style of Football from Italy, Scotland, Championship and the Prem and paid the price for it with that squad selection with little European experience. I've seen his game plan anlysed by an experienced coach and it was super-smart. Even more impressive, it was quite complex and fluid, yet the squad executed pretty flawlessly. For the first time in years, little Scotland has a real shot at qualifying for a major tournament - so long as we don't trip up over Georgia or Cyprus in typical fashion... Well played sir!

Steve Clarke is the perfect international manager he never made it properly at club level he seemed to struggle alot but with Scotland he has turned them into a team that can dominate even the best teams in the world not just europe

I mean it's just Kilmarnock but he's a legend here, literally took a club from the bottom of the league and one of the worst killie teams ever to the best team in the league outside of rangers and Celtic and took points off both of them, particularly rangers on a regular basis, which is quite and achievement considering we never give either of them a game before that or since. Was also very harshly treated by west brom, one of their best managers (league position wise)
It just seems to be the perfect fit. He learns from mistakes as well and we keep getting better. To be fair the job he did at Kilmarnock was unbelievable. I’m a Rangers fan and his team used to dominate and bully (in a good way) us for 90 minutes. It wasn’t all defensive either.
There's a reason why they gave him the job when he was only managing a team like Kilmarnock, because he showed he could get the best out of the player's he had.
