They should be held responsible. If they did the job right there wouldn't have been any need for tearing down walls and doing all they did. It's soooooo common for contractors to leave old vents open like that. Idk why. Takes 5min to pop a cap on it. Not only that but some people can get REALLY sick breathing in sewer gas. It's bad.

After binge watching so many of your videos, I have a new job specialization for the Twins. I’d like to see them consulting on a new structure from ground up and incorporate all the tips repeatedly mentioned in their videos maybe less clastrophobic crawl spaces and more accessible attic spaces.

We need you guys!!! Elk Grove (just outside of Sacramento) has a big problem with Rats!!! We've hired another pest control company to come out.. they only placed traps and did nothing else. After watching your videos.. I called them back out and asked for them to show me pictures inside the attic and entrance points around my house. they never even went into my attic the first time. I'm not happy with the service I'm stuck in but, we need to make sure these RATS won't burn down my house.

I love how thorough you guys are. All contractors should at least offer to the home owners if they want plastic up and keep the area clean. I would actually pay a hundred bucks more for them to protect the rest of the house from the job site.
Another freebee for concrete builders: when you have the iron rods for reinforcement to put into the cage framing, don´t waste afford and time to getting them in seperatly and lose, just use some of that cheap binding wire to turn all the iron rods into a single rod (german electricians are using that method for easily pushing wires) and cut the 2-3 bits of wire, you took to turn a bunch of single rods into one over 5meters, off to place them where needed when they´re all in. I was just a helper, but tought that method to an experienced german cencrete builder and just for that, he immediantly paid me more money, since stuff like that is going to save him so much money, easily 2-3 hour per day he can save by that he said.

I've been watching your Videos for years now! And i have a Rat problem literally yesterday in my kitchen. It vame in destroyed all the food an then its gone hiding haha! I ripped everything out trying to find a trace an nothing found so I've set some traps up hoping to get it tonight!

I think steel wool or Brillo pads would be better than tin foil. Brillo pads are steel wool pads with soap. I have some big openings that I’m trying to figure out the best solution to fix them. Several different supposedly reputable companies have left in my home. Even an over priced reverse osmosis water filter system. Also, one of those “clean space protected under house jobs” (with the plastic to in close the entire space under the house) and even more if that isn’t enough already. ☹️ A divorced (40 Yrs. marriage) and sick 75 Yrs. old woman gets taken advantage of by unscrupulous handymen. It is possible to go after the seller. You’ll needs lots of proof from written communications and contracts and quotes from professionals. It also depends on what your state laws.
That happened to me as well. That’s a scam (under the table payment) between the seller, the realtor and the buyer’s house inspector.
I just rehabbed our sun room with a new floor and put in a rat slab to keep the mice out... The joists were nasty - and I sprayed them with enzyme cleaner - which helped. What really works though is to encapsulate the wood with an oil-based primer like Kilz. I rolled it onto the joists, and then used the spray-can version to get everywhere else. I dumped a ton of primer in that room, and the odor is GONE.

Same happened to me but he demo’d my kitchen and ripped my house up, stole my appliances and jacked up the whole place. My Dad passed away and I have no brothers or anyone male to step up and help so I’m still sitting here with a mess.

That's exactly what needs to be addressed the cutting of the walls is a bit over kill... Wherever those rats are getting in from the outside was never addressed and they can clearly get back underneath that place
@@exclusionexperts596 If you watch more of their videos you see they do full external exclusions but also remove the mess and smell from walls and determine the exact entry points. There’s always 1 or 2 main every points that need fixing as well as the general exclusion work.
