The amv starts off really rawish, since this song is kinda more the 'silent' one if you know what I mean, but still has some few awesome beats to go with. Couldn't resist to use this song. God it's so beautiful, though still depressing, I just love it. This song probably won't make you cry, but it will make your heart feel all depressed lol. I especially love the end, it's kinda dramatic, 'cause it first seems that everything bad and hurtful is going to happen again as it used to so many times before; [see the repeating scenes and the quotes] but then in the end the girl/s realizes that it's just over and that her love doesn't feel like home anymore, the way it actually should. The quotes show off what always should have been said and the things that were said instead. Letting go of a person you love is hard; but if that someone does not love you back it's the only way to get back to happiness.

How many years are flew by... I finished school, university, changed few jobs... and I'm still returning to this.
Clannad really left a huge mark on me, it's still one of my favourite anime, I rewatch it almost every year... and still not enough.
Every story, every character, every moment is just way too great here.
This video means the world to me now. I have loved a guy for four years unconditionally and he never did the same. We are close but it was never what I wanted. I have neglected so many friends for this one person unknowingly. If it's one sided, just remember a relationship takes two... And you can love them but they can't do the same... No mater how close, you can't cage them in your life when they will break the bars to get out...

Me and this one girl.. We werent supposed to ever meet but some how we did, different backgrounds, different mindsets, all we had in common was running. We met in cross country during highschool, we became good friends and after a while I eventually got the guts to ask her on a date. She was anorexic btw, but fuck was she was so fucking beautiful that I had to kiss her. We became bf and gf. She was so different, so wild in life and out going. She wanted to travel the world and never take a step back no matter what, she was there in my boxing practices everyday for 4 hours and I helped her get better and get out of anorexia.We supported each other but somewhere along the way things went south. We started throwing everything that made us into who we are just to spend more time together, we destoryed each other emotional and mentally, We kept loving even after knowing a break up was inevitable. Her style, her mindset, her way of love, her honesty and compassion, everything, good and bad was amazing and so imperfectly, perfect. I don't think I'll ever forget her. I keep thinking about her a year later things ended. I showed her this video the first month we dated. During the end we thought the same, "does she/love me?" " did she/he ever care". The truth is. Love is complicated, love is confusing. It will rip your heart out and leave you suffering inside without anyone seeing. Yet it can help you live, it can give you a purpose to wake up everyday, it can be a reason to smile, NEVER give up on love. Don't become a empty body just like I did. You'll lose the most precious things and people close to you. "Was It My Fault?". 1:55 is exactly how the end of the relationship was and this whole video shows how my relationship was with her, Hopefully one day she sees this comment.

I really like the meaning behind this. The word "home" has so many different meanings to it. Home as in an actual house, home as in a relationship between someone you have deep feelings for or a family member. When things start to go wrong, and you just don't feel like you belong there anymore, people just can't understand you anymore, then what's the point of staying? It isn't home anymore, then you have to go find a new one. That is just how life works. Hanging on to tiny bits of thread when a giant ladder is avalible just doesn't work. Home is home, how you view a home is up to you. That is just how I viewed the video at least.

He left because he couldn't handle anything.... and every time I try too help him he just moved more away from me.... I felt so numb, so cold and alone for so long, an sad part is I still love him

This video make me cry like a baby. There was this girl i loved but she was 14. I'm 17. She and me went to the same club and all. After about 6 or so months spending together she had to leave the club because of her mum. After she left i left.... I miss her a lot. But i can only hope that were he is and what she is doing that she is happy and safe... I've now given up on love. For i don't want to break anyone else's heart.

That ending... That ending message is enough to make someone cry, with that alone. But, with the song, the anime, and all the clips, this is easily enough to make someone want to go in a hole and cry.

I have watched it so many times. I recently finished Clannad. The way this AMV is made and the message it sends relates to my life right now. I just sit here for an hour or more and watch this over and over and cry. It kills me... the part at 1:40, it rips my heart everytime until I eventually feel numb and can no longer watch this video. Then I can cope again, not for long, but long enough to seem ok to the world.
For everyone reading this, I wish you a good day. Know that you are not alone in this road, there is people feeling the same as you do. Smile, tell the ones you love what you realy feel about them. Remember that you arent alone, you have people who love you eventhow you perhaps dont know about it, your parents, your family, your friends...
