Great Demo, Really like the one for Mono, since most use that. I have used a couple thin strips of White cloth medical Tape, to keep Braid or Mono from rotational slippage. Old Indian Trick , Lol. Have great Year Fishing, Rip some Lips.

Actually you want the knot pushed to the front of the reel spool because the line will come off the spool easier as the line gets shorter. And I use a slip knot that tightens as the spool is 1st loaded on, it never slips.

I tie a normal knot, cause when they strip ur line down to the spool , it's a wrap. Bring 2 rods. 😂

And make sure you place it closer to the bottom of the spool so you're not catching the knot while casting....

Very very poor way to tie to your spool. Expect you line to get tangled. If the spool runs low enough your line will get tangled with that big knot you have protruding from the middle of your spool.

This method is nothing new …. I’ve been using this since I was 6…and long before most of you knew what braided line was …. I’m over 60 now and we had braid… but it was called squidding line … this guy is trying to re invent the wheel …. There are “no” new knots …. Every knot we use for fishing today … are the same knots we used back in the day…
Everyone thinks the fg knot is some new spectacular wonder … 🖕

I think any knot method works just fine, but most people don't wrap the line around the spool , " TWICE" and off set those two wrapes, sort of like an " X", that's what I believe, is the key to keep the line tight to the spool, void of rotational slippage. Slam the hook to some fish this year.
