Used to happen a lot in decades gone by, so famous people could hide their homosexuality. A "double beard" scenario is when both a famous man and a famous woman are both gay, and "dating" each other makes everyone think that they are straight. After all, no top artist is going to write songs about a PR relationship 2/3 years later after it ended, while showing their couple necklace in two MVs, could've just released one song to prove that they dated, but not release a bunch of songs with detailed storyline. It doesn't make sense, especially when that artist was already at the top of the world and was probably the most successful one during that time

It honestly concerns me that more people aren’t talking about this.
The hypocrisy of her calling out Ginny and Georgia for misogyny only to be completely silent as her fandom descended on the actress with racist hate was just… unreal. So was the way she went after that small blogger in 2017 with a cease and desist simply for calling on her to denounce white supremacy (rather than just simply denounce it or go after the Daily Stormer, a right wing white supremacist publication that claimed she was “one of them”). She did eventually denounce white supremacy 3 years later when Black Lives Matter caught on more, but there is such a thing as embracing something only when it’s popular. Just recently she dated or associated with Matty Healy, who is a known racist and bigot, who in particular has had some harmful things to say about black women. It’s more than just one isolated incident. There’s a pattern with her. I really wish people would stop praising her feminism or anti-racism at all. Doing so puts the bar dangerously low. The fact that she was on Time Magazines cover of “silence breakers” when she tried to silence someone for saying she should denounce white supremacy is super ironic. She cries “misogyny” only when it affects her directly. That’s the truth. She consistently fans the flames by making her “feuds” known and saying nothing as those people are doxxed, harassed, and sent death threats. She may be smashing records, but she has not shown herself to be a person with integrity.
