-Hello!! Guys welcome my channel, today I will talk about my pantry!
Because getting meals ready can be so much easier when you know what’s in your pantry.
I am just here to share what’s been working for my family.
Having a week stocked pantry & fridge is like Mini Supermart or Emergency food storage in the house, when you know pantry is stocked with all the items to make dishes.
even at the last minute meal keeping a supply of essential ingredients.
Plus who wants to run to the grocery store during the lockdown or even normal days
-During the pandemic, the whole world stopped, even the supermarket, social gatherings, we all feared to order from outside (takeaway food) many of us have questions about the safety of our food.
-When you think of the basic pantry staples items like beans, pluses, sauces, veggies, oils they make cooking easy without compromising on flavour.
-After watching this please don’t go and buy all these ingredients at once,
I recommend picking up one or two extra items, each time you go to grocery store, that’s what I do, I’ve literally spent months gathering these items, slowly over time & as my budget would allow me to.
(for example -when I buy my monthly groceries I buy 1 & 2 items like bottle of olives or sauces & these items go a long away)
-Also store & buy what your family eats. Just don’t store and just keep
Plan your week then buy your stuff accordingly.
-I’m constantly using and replacing items in my stockpile ( means if I am about to finish my 500g butter, next time whenever I visit store I would buy new butter to replace the previous one, so nothing goes waste (older items are in front & they get used first)
Same way with fresh potatoes, tomatoes & veggies.
End of the week, little left over veggies make mixed veg Sabzi or patties.
Sometimes your old veggies can make the most incredible dishes. Get creative at the end of the week and minimise waste with these easy jen kitchen recipes.
You’ll be surprised at how good that little remaining guvar or beans Sabzi or cucumber, green apple with few lettuce and cut ripe mango roasted & toss with melon seeds & walnuts magic taste in a salad!

Take a handful of onion peels (of about 3-4 big onions of 5-6 medium-sized onions) and soak them in 1-litre water for 24 hours. Use the drained water in your garden the following day.
