I tried the recipe yesterday and here is my advice:
- Chop up the cranberries into smaller pieces so the cookie dough won't break into small pieces when you slice it.
- Must make different flavours into different bowls. I find that the matcha cookies are a bit drier than the original ones. I will reduce some flour and then add matcha powder with the same amount as I reduced.
- Feel free to bake longer because since we cover the cookie with foil, the cookies might come out very soft and easy to break. Do not touch the cookies after taking out of ovens, wait for a while to cool down and harden the texture.
- If your dough break when you slice it, just simply use your hands to reshape.
==> They taste very buttery and delicious, not too sweet 😁

Yes, sure. Cut a piece of aluminum foil and put it above the cookies let to cove the whole cookies since 5 minutes after baking. It will let the cookies keep the original color, not be gold color.

@@Headsally for ex. Cookie bake for 25mins, place the aluminium foil at 20mins, continue to bake for 5mins.

How about when making cocoa flavoured ones? Do i need to do anything differently?
Just do it like the matcha flavor. Take off 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour and replace with 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder. This is the amount for half of the total recipe.
