Just learnt something new about the offset piston pin with the arrow! I'm 50 & been working on my bikes for 37 years, just proves you never stop learning. Good to see new shop working well👍

Hi Tatro. My panhead manual calls for .004 ring side clearance, but I'm dealing with only .0015 with some NOS Superior rings and pistons. Would you run them, or look for other rings? Thanks!
as long as they are free in the grooves i would run them. just keep the heat down until they break in. .004 is way loose. that would be a wear limit, not a new one.
