Muse are legends of the game. 30 year vets this year. Showbiz, the song and album are absolute bangers
Has it been 30 years? 😅
@@domdadomdom_2733 They started the band 1994, but first album 1999. So it's 25 years as a published band :D
Butterflies and Hurricanes at Wembley....crazy good!
That's a wall of sound for only three people on stage...🤘
You’ll likely adore these from them:
- Hysteria live at Glastonbury 2004
- Invincible live at Royal Albert Hall 2008
- New Born live at Wembley 2007
- Citizen Erased live 2015
- Unnatural Selection live at Rock am Ring 2010
- Futurism live in Tokyo
Futuristim from the 20th OoS anniversary is better than any live performances
@@mikmak5551
I respectfully disagree because the 2012 performance of that song is one of my favorite live performances ever, but I did love the anniversary remaster too.
Futurism is a great performance
Do you really prefer that New Born performance over the Glastonbury 2004 one? And Citizen Erased from Hullabaloo 2001 is also way better.
@@picoroDaimaku
I like the Wembley guitar tone for new born and I like his voice 2006-2015 better than his early voice since the chest component is stronger and it’s more operatic. Purely subjective though I don’t claim these are objectively the best, just some of my favorites.
Seen them 3 times live, on their last 3 tours. Best live band, with their sound and the production that go into their shows. A 2 hr set, which will leave u blown
Try butterflies and hurricanes live at Wembley to see the talent Matt is...
Its the grand omega boss outro too
Muse have won many, many awards and it's no coincidence that most of them are for "Best live performance" or "Best live band"
Old muse is fkng insane man, you guys should check out more
Such a good performance. The outro here is from an alternate version of the song called Assassin Grand Omega Bosses edit. In that version it’s smacked right in the middle of the song as a breakdown of sorts with some cool vocals as well.
Anything live by MUSE is worth your time.
Definitely check out Reapers live from Cologne 2015 on Muse's channel. Another awesome small venue show. (And lots of exceptional close ups of the guitar playing!)
Micro cuts from Hullabaloo and Cave from London Astoria 2000 are fantastic
Amazing video ! knights of cydonia Live at rome stadium, you will enjoy it !
Muse in a small venue in 2015- that must have been some ticket price! (Just 1400 seats I believe). A real treat for those lucky enough to get a ticket. Check out something from the Rome Olympic Stadium gig in 2013 with 61,000 which is more’Normal’ for them. Saw them last summer in MK UK again with 60,000 others and they have lost non of their magic.
Love it! Guys have to react to Stockholm Syndrome at Glastonbury 2004 but also, if you want to hear Christ, the bassist, sing, you can react to Liquid State live at Las Vegas. a personal song of Christ that they have not performed again
I see Muse or Tool...I click. Seen em 22 times live!
So the bass tone is way more complicated than you could imagine. Chris has never liked the basic bass tone. In short, his signal is split between a clean tone going to a bass amp, a muff tone for the distortion going to a guitar amp and then usually either another distorted line, or an octave DOWN just to give the lower tone some kick. In some songs he also has filters, wah's and all sorts. To put it in perspective one of the sections of the intro (4:31) the high 'guitar' part is actually him playing, as well as playing the bass part while Matt (guitarist) is just playing quite a low riff.
Matt may be a master song writer but Chris's tones are a whole art in itself.
New to your channel I just discovered through this song. Love your reaction and insights. I wish I can see more Muse reactions!!
Checkout Muse Knights of Cydonia Live from Rome and Plug In Baby Live from Rome
They are all so ridiculously talented. Matt is unbelievable.🤘
Great reaction! Glad you guys enjoyed this one. Since you mentioned it at the end, you should do Stockholm Syndrome, live at Wembley
The mix from Wembley is horrendous.
Off to live from Rome take your pick. Plug in baby for me chaps, seen them live wow feels like the sounds is coming out of your chest lol.
Great reaction. FYI, the whole Mayan show is available on CZcams. Lots of choices. Lots of variety. Thanks!
anything you listen from muse must always be live
Something not picked up was the highs in the break down were reverse delays so the vibrato was backwards bringing in a swell. I saw this song in a small venue last year, it was very loud
Subbed because of this review thank you.
You should try Stockholm syndrom live from Earl courts 2004 this is a very hard live maybe one of the hardest a fantastaic live, shared by a lot of fans
Awwww love u guys 🥰🥰 best of luck from Ireland 🇮🇪
Matt from Muse bought and gave Dany from the Warning a mustard color guitar, That is how much the Muse think of her a true Rocker.
The performances in Mayan is some of their best stuff, but the vocals get lost in the mix, so it isn't my favourite. It's got my favorite live version of Supermassive Black Hole and possibly my favorite Stockholm Syndrome version, tied with Vegas 2013 and Glastonbury 2003
muse stockholm syndrome 2004 , crazy ending scream
Me encantó la reacción!! Escuchen al indio Solari " Ji Ji Ji" en Tandil 🤟🙏 cynthia de Argentina..después la música los lleva por todos lados.. créanme.. jaja saludos
Stockholm Syndrome live from Glastonbury!!
You shuld react to Fury lol
Hey Guys great reaction again!, I'll definitely check your own music to support you.
I'm the meantime more myse to add to your list:
Reapers live
New Born at Glastonbury 2004
Stockholm syndrome (difficult to choose between Glastonbury 2004 or Wembley)
Cheers?
Muse - Supremacy Live 2013
Micro cuts is a must guys
Muse, the Warning idols..
Stockholm syndrome live pinkpop 2004, check it out
Subscribing for more muse
Please react to George Harrison - Who Can See It
Love the warning, muse are their idols, i just can't get into muse😂
I disagree strongly this one being the best performance of this song, I find the mix and the guitar and drums sound atrocious. The best Assassin performance is LA 2008 in my opinion
If you mean this one then I completely agree:
