@@comicallylargeidiot3821 OP still has a point though. Fact is, even if it wasn't intended to be, Subnautica is mostly known for _being a horror experience_ on account of the Reapers, Ghosts and Sea Dragon Leviathans that prey on thalassophobic fears (in fact, studies have shown that nearly half of adults have some thalassophobia in some way or another; encountering alien-looking beasts in the dark watery depths is just a natural fear of ours). Therefore people expect to be terrified no matter what the devs intended, so going from a terrifying serpent like the Reaper to just some oversized shrimp fish like the Chelicerate is simply underwhelming (and dare I say it, the choice to just use a bigger and blue variant of the Chelicerate as the "Void" Leviathan in Sub-Zero is _really_ lazy, especially compared to its counterpart, the Ghost Leviathan, from the og game). It especially doesn't help that even _IF_ the Leviathans here are meant to work as simply hostile limitations... welp, they fail at that. The Reapers, Ghosts and Sea Dragons from the first game were fantastic at acting as natural obstacles for the players to face precisely _BECAUSE_ they're absolutely terrifying; many Let's Players can attest to being driven from freely exploring the Aurora, Crater Edge, Lost River, Inactive Lava Zone and Lava Lakes _BECAUSE_ the Leviathans guarding them were more scary than merely weird. This is why I absolutely love the "Return Of The Ancients" mod of the first game and how it brings the fully-completed Gargantual Leviathan; having seen it myself, I absolutely agree with this threads first comment in that it is a much more effective blockade than the three Ghosts (though they are still effective and terrifying in their own right; don't get me wrong, they still do their job well), and I wish Sub-Zero had something like it that isn't just a bigger recolor of a bootleg shrimp Reaper. And I am _far_ from the only one who wishes that, either, because otherwise that Gargantuan Leviathan mod wouldn't have been so beautifully-created and beloved by so many fans. Just circle with him until he loses agro... About the description, normal Chelicerate does 75 damage and Void Chelicerate 72 or 73 (one of them, I don't remember which), it's also a bit bigger, cannonicly Chelicerate is about 45 metres and Void Chelicerate about 60 so there is quite a difference but it's not very visible in the game itself
Sir your fighting tactics. ..Most impressive ! Is Sub for that reason along with the fact that the Shadow in Sub Zero is my most battle foe!
13:31 congratulation bud
Leviathan in first subnautica: sea dragon: reaper, vent garden I guess, and some passive leviathan, oh and sea emperor
Leviathan in below zero: chelecrate, shadow leviathan, void chelecrate, vent garden
1st play through: shitting your pants throughout the entire thing
2nd play through: can fuck off most creatures but still scared shitless
3rd play through: this
Shadow leviathan’s pda: avoid at all costs
Prawn suit: are you sure about that?
i didnt know the chelicerate existed so playing this for the first time and not hearing about the chelicerate in the beta terrified me
Love how it said in the PDA the shadow leviathan was the most dangerous leviathan in the game even though this dude defeated it in less then 5 minutes and it did less damage then the other leviathans, it’s probably the most dangerous because of those twins
What's the difference between twins and shadow leviathan?
@@yagiznebioglu1852 They're the same creatures, no difference. It's just that the fabricator cave is smaller and thus shadow leviathans can coexist closely, unlike the crystal cave who's too big to have two leviathans nearby. There's 4 shadow leviathans in the game.
Void chelicerate: swims away
Loopy: IT IS DEAD
Attacking these dudes with perfect accuracy and excellent precision
Me after killing Shadow Leviathan: Now you're no lord of dark anymore!
I like your channel, I already suscribe and I already liked your videos :D
This is why the prawn suit is my favorite vehicle in the game
Me before my first leviathan attack: Hippity hoppity this is now your property
Me after the first leviathan attack: time for death
The way he was vibing to the music while riding the glow whale 😂😂
um yes i love subnautica bosses
btw the prawn suit arm with no upgrades does more damage than the drill upgrade atleast in subnautica idk if its same in below zero
Chelicerate is a one big tough shrimp. You can have a lot of food out of him now.
I like how the jellyfish just floats by like "Round 1 fight!" 🤣
Normal people:leviathans,this guy:giant mineral deposits
a dead body of shadow Lev is a very nice touch from devs :D
The Shadow Leviathan isn't as scary after you've beat the first game. Reapers and Ghost Leviathans are scary but dang I hate Warpers. They're not even in the second game and I'll still get scared thinking I saw one.
i love your channel ^^
Subnautica below zero; beautiful everywhere
Original subnautica: *YOU WANT TO HAVE A FIGHTING CHANCE, THEN GET NEAR IT YOU LOSER
That first leviathan takes so many hits just to die. It’s ridiculous
The whale is so wholesome
Too bad we cant have pet glow whales ☹️
@@neongaming8818 yeah we can
@@neongaming8818 and then it starts eating your whole family
Man is doin Dark Souls in another game
there are a total of 4 shadows in both the crystal caves combined
The void leviathans in both games just scare tf out of me more than anything cuz like it just comes out of nowhere and it’s just creepy nah
the way the shadow leviathan curls up when it dies like a spider grosses me out so bad coz i am terrified of spiders
I'm also hate spiders
This guy is the true alpha of 4546B
I never thought of naming the two shadow Leviathans twins
Me: I need kyanite
Shadow leviathan appears
Me: YOU WILL NOT PREVENT ME FROM ACHIEVING SUCCESS
I wish we could fire a remotely-guided tactical nuke torpedo at the leviathans.
POW!
Leviathan no more!
Someone needs to put the pacific rim theme over them wrecking leviathans with the prawn suit.
In the Xbox version, you cannot use the grappler and the drill at the same time. As soon as you use the drill, it let's go of the grappler.
You're insane gg dude
It's so much easier to just smack it with the regular prawn arms
Wow! THATS EPIC and nice to see
Chelicerate - *5000 HP*
Glow Whale - *10,000 HP*
Ice Worm - *I'm guessing like 1000 or 500 HP?*
Shadow Leviathan - *5000 HP*
Ice worm health=♾
DAWG THE CHELICERATE WAS FLEEING BRO HES A RUNNER
Player before the Prawn Suit: Aaaahhh wtf is that? Get the f@ck away from me!
Player with the Prawn Suit: Aaaahhh come here u son of a bltch + Doom music blasting in the background!
Nothing beats Reaper Leviathann
Always Scary
Sound & Visual
Someone KILLED THE ICE WORM?!? FANDOM SAYS IT CANT BE KILLED BECAUSE IT DON'T HAVE A HURTBOX!
He said he was tired all these leviathan he started running fades
The shadow leviathans are my fav leviathans
So its possible... noted
Me: why did you kill two leviathans??
Loopy Longplays: just to harvest the caves in peace? duh
Bro just splashed two Chelicerates in the same thumbnail
Dude the Chelicerate in my world keeps running away whenever I attack it with the prawn suit and then I will search for like 10 minutes to find him again it’s super annoying
Bois weve found the braved subnautica below zero player
8:31 man just said "peace out"
I honestly wish you could enter precursor bases with your Prawn suit especially with the fabricator caverns like your expected to just leave your Prawn suit to die by the shadow leviathan.
Scariest list
Chelicerate 2
Chelicerate dead zone version 1
Reaper leviathan 3
Shadow leviathan thingy 4
Ghost leviathan 5
You know. I always find ghost leviathans WAY worse. IDK maybe it’s the size? Huge things that can kill me scare me senseless. Black holes😱 Jupiter’s red spot😱 ghost leviathans. 😱
No my friend Jimmy the shrimp! U may win this round but stay away from Sean the shadow leviathan! There my friends!
For some reason the reaper leviathan from the first game is the only creature in either game that actually scares me. With any other leviathan there are either annoying or I’m just like oh it’s a (insert leviathan name here). But if I see a reaper leviathan I nope the hell outa there
Florida Man goes fishing
Fish are always bigger in Florida
