Sin duda el nivel de las Patinadoras Rusas en junior y senior es increíble este 2022, por encima de las Competencias y Patinadoras de la ISU 2022 🤷
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that this sequence by Adele (4T+2A+seq) is the first time performed in a competition. Of course, it will not be counted on international records and achievements, but we will not forget, like her 4Loop.

I still can’t comprehend how Adelia’s 3A had three revelations! It didn’t seem to be enough height in the jump, but when you watch it at really slow speed, you see that it is three revelations. She just turns very very very quickly. 😮
Yeah i thought so at first. Her height and distance are the ones of a double axel (normally you have to jump higher and tighter to gain power when you jump a 3A), so it's why it looked like a 2A. But there is 3,5 revolutions !
I really like the triple axel and quad toeloop. Also, Alisa's quad lutz looks so effortless to the point it looks like a triple!

Fue un 4Lz de Alysa, no gran técnica, pero si un quad.
Congratulations to all Russian Juniors Adelia, Sophia and Veronika who successfully performed their programmes with triple axels and quads. Their performances were so interesting to watch with beautiful choreography. This is what can be called true figure skating unlike what was seen in Canada.
ultra c elements are fun but theres other ways to add difficulty. Footwork and transitions are so very difficult. Long held movements are so difficult too. The Russian skaters work longer and harder, so they have a higher success rate at the jumps. They focus on quick rotation (wow, I thought adelia did a 2A there! Such quick rotation!).

What pissed me off in skate Canada was more the unfair judging than the lack of ultra cs... there were at least 3 attempts almost all successful - Japanese and koreans (but mostly Japaneses) are carrying the competition both in senior and junior in absence of the russians
I also thought Rinka’s 3A was a q in the SP. I hope she can put in 3A3T in her SP soon!
Zhilina had an inside edge landing on most of those elements. I hope she can improve on that, as it is not good for the ankle.
Grand Prix of Sochi is not an actual event and shouldn’t be acknowledged as one. Russia is banned!
