Im a pretty fast reader but if you read constantly and read a book series you know your reading speed can increase
I can finish a 300+ page book in about 2 days with breaks and such. It depends on whether I’m enjoying it or not tho, if I’m in a mad rush to finish it because I’m not liking it , it takes me longer. But I’m the type of person that once I get into a book I can’t put it down lol.

Omg same, i actually stopped reading for quite some time. Maybe 4-5 yrs. Though I am still reading occasionally, but way back 2010-2017 i love reading so much that i read books endlessly on my phone. I could read 1 book in a day. I wanted my 2022 to go back in that routine, not as much, but read 3 books per week would be awesome. I thought after going on hiatus for so long, i would lose my ability to read so fast. Just 2 weeks ago, I read a 400 page book within 2 days and im still amazed that i still got it. ✨
@@emmuuremmuur yay! my favorite book series would be the Robert Langdon series and in YA, it would be the Percy Jackson series orrr the Mortal Instruments, specifically the Infernal Devices. ❤️✨

LMFAO I was reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and it takes me so LONGGG. I think it’s because I get distracted a lot. It took me like a week to read it.

It took me a full year to read all the harry potter books, although back then i had a full time job and did sports.

@@dannyjorde2677 for example let's say they are doing a re-read and they are already at goblet of fire, so they start from that and not the philosopher's stone (the first book)

I’m such a slow reader 🥴. I read the first three Harry Potter books in about 9 days at a rate of reading around 40-50 pages an hour 😂. I do regularly stop to use a thesaurus to see what words mean though which slows me down. I’ve also noticed my reading speed varies chapter to chapter

Goblet Of Fire is the best book in the series. I have been into Harry Potter for about 9 years now and I always am so excited to read GoF whenever I have a reread of the series.

@@emmuuremmuur probably prisoner of azkaban the dementors symbolize depression so well Rowling was depressed when she wrote the book and she decided to use that depression for her story writing and you could see how well that worked!
