Been wearing them for years and never had a problem.. get your facts right first... If you have any concerns over the purchase of an aftermarket strap, get yourself some Jays and Kay's adaptors! That way you'll know you're safe. Metal bands too heavy? Your a funny man G-Shock
Hi, I'm curious about the strength of the lugs when wearing the metal band. Does the metal band breaks the carbon core lugs or cause damage to the hole if i do full metal mod on my GA-B2100?

The 4th gen should be easier to swap rubber straps, so if you planning to change the strap a lot wait if not the current-gen is fine.
