It's both bizarre and hilarious how well the succession theme fits the crown since they're technically about the same thing which is exploring a legacy of an institution, however old-fashioned it might seem, through the people who run it whereas The Crown focus on the people who surround as well as the family succession just tackles the family great video 😊👍

I agree. However it has to be said that maybe it works very well for The Crown because it and Succession deal with a quite similar subject: a powerful family.
If we are talking about attention to details and cinematic delivery, then sure but I still feel the Saudi edit is still far more relevant and powerful.

The crown belongs to the Throne, to the Kingdom, not to humans. Good punchline, but total heresy.
@@KarlSen that ‘crown’ belongs to the Crown of England (UK) which is, practically, a ‘corporation sole’ that was composed by, and only by, Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II of the British Commonwealth, during Her Majesty’s reign. Upon Her Majesty’s passing, the Crown of England (UK) was vested into His Majesty, King Charles III, of the British Commonwealth.

In the show creator Peter Morgan's earlier film "The Queen", a dead stag is used to allude to Diana. So its Canon that a stag = Princess Diana in Peter Morgan's work.

That's really amazing! It looks even better than the actual Succession opening, maybe that's thanks to The Crown's aesthetic but that's certainly mainly thanks to the amazing edit!

Extremely good. So good that for a tiny second I considered replacing the actual intro on every episode of The Crown with this intro. But I don't have the time for all that.

This intro is awesome. So you know from succession that part where the Empire State Building is surrounded by fog. They should have done that here for Big Ben. That would be a cool shot!!

Didn’t they include King Charles II because he was the one executed thus more dramatic (or am I thinking of another King Charles)
@brutustantheiii8477 That was Charles i in the edit,the one who got executed. Charles ii was his son i think.
We can still see Q Victoria's facial genetics in the bloodline till KC, then Lady Diana came in and kinda erased it 😂, cz both her kids look like the spencers than the RF! (Yeah Princess Charlotte looks a little like QE, but oh well)
