Been watching the videos in this series and already seen lots of improvement in my trees. Love your style and you explanations!
damn, i think i've watched almost half a dozen of your videos that all use that exact same tree as a reference, and every single one of them has introduced a new focus whilst building on the concepts from the previous videos. Bravo!
I expect your trees look amazing by now if I’ve done my job properly. Have fun with your new knowledge and use it for good. 😀
Hey Stephen! Your videos are a tremendous help. Thanks for making them!
Thanks Andreas. Really appreciate that. Please tell your drawing friends. 😀
So helpful. Thank you!
My pleasure Lisa. I have a drawing trees playlist if you are interested. 😀
Many deep insight in this short video ! I'm becoming a follower of your channel 🙏
I’m really glad to have you aboard Carlos. I’m really pleased you found it so helpful 😀
Thank You Stephen, excellent explanation! Looking forward to getting a set of markers.
Great videos- your ‘how not to draw tree’ bore an uncanny resemblance to the ones I’ve been turning out so the advice is great - thank you!
Haha. Sometimes I look at peoples drawings to get ideas for videos. I can assure you that you’re not alone with that. All the best with a new approach. 😀
Can u draw the outline little slower. I find it little difficult.Thank you so much. Hopefully i will be able to do it. ❤ God bless u, u r awesome artist.
This is sped up, or else the video is too long. But you can use the CZcams cog icon to slow down the video to bring it to real speed if you want. 😀
Great videos Stephen!!! Thanks soooo much, these have helped me so much!! Im hooked on your channel!!
Could you please do one on evergreen trees? They have me stumped!!
Thanks. I have posted a video recently on conifers. Hopefully that will be helpful for you. 😀
I needed this help, thank you for making this available! What markers are you using?
Glad to help. I use Copic Multiliners for the line work, and Copic Sketchmarkers for the tone, using the brush end, not the chisel end. I use Neutral Grey colour for the tone, usually 4-6 tones each drawing. The markers are refillable and the pens can have their ink cartridges and nibs replaced.
I love how you simplify the complexity of trees with both your drawing and your explanation. It makes me want to draw.
Well don’t waste time Debra, time to grab a pen and paper and find a tree! Usually they’re not to hard to find. I’m really pleased the video was so helpful. I have a trees playlist if you haven’t seen it yet. 😀
