- It's been one year since I purchased my SQ5. Let's discuss the issues, livability, complaints, and performance of it. Is the SQ5 the right car for you? Maybe so!

To sync the climate control with the passenger you can just push and hold in the driver side knob for like 2 seconds. Much easier than through the MMI!
Bought my SQ5 back in 2016 brand new, 113k miles and it's still going strong! Keep up with recommended maintenance and this thing is giving my accord a run for the money in cost!
It's really a great vehicle. The 3.0 SC engine is so stout!
Have you ran into any real problems or complaints besides the panoramic sunroof?
No major problems at all. Even the sunroof has been fine. My only issues were an oil level sensor that went bad
@@BrunerTunerHow's it going now? I'm looking at getting a 2016 SQ5 with 60k miles on it for the Wife and Kid.
It's going strong. I'm at 110k miles. Backseats are a bit small for a car seat but it can work
Tip, you can press and hold the driver side temp button to sync both sides👍🏽
I'm considering a 2022 SQ5 and stumbled onto this video. Great info!
Thanks so much!!
So glad you do these videos, very informative
I am glad you find them helpful! If you have any questions, let us know
@@BrunerTuner will do! it’s great to find someone with a similar build using it for the same purposes. Love these cars so much. Stage 2+ soon
It’s been a year already!! I love the SQ5
I do too!
Got the same vehicle, it is an amazing Family Dragster!
Oh yeah it's awesome!
He do be revvin it up
Gon reb up da bipes
I had same issue with the oil light on mine. It was actually a hood latch sensor that needed replaced.
I've heard of that causing issues as well. So far, the light hasn't returned.
I've the 3lt tdi , almost 200 000 km and i don't change , perfect car 🇵🇹🍻
Looking to trade my 16’ A3 for a 15-16’ SQ5. Awesome video. Thank you 👌🏼
Should be a great upgrade!
There’s a 2020 Audi SQ5 with 22K miles for sale near me & idk if I should go for it! I’ve always liked the look on an SQ5 is reliability good?
Ours has held up well, and has seen a fair amount of mileage. I'd say do a thorough inspection as with any car, but we'd feel safe recommending one!
Nice video bro. They don't make Sq5 with supercharger anymore only with turbo charger so reliability might be different with the turbo. And you said its only 1 year review. We will see what happens in 4 years from now once your warranty runs out.
Are you... Wait... What?
Thinking about buying one with 108k miles. 2015 SQ5! Reliability wise probably not the best move at this point right? Whats your opinion based on your ownership?
No, these cars are extremely reliable. It has been a fantastic car with very few problems
@@BrunerTuner Im a bit scared to go test drive bc I know Ill be instantly sold! Been reviewing these for couple weeks now! (Specifically the 2015 model)
Cars are meant to be enjoyed! If you find yourself loving it, take it home. You WON'T regret it!
If you press and hold the driver side climate dial it will sync, you don't need to use the menu
That's a relief. The MMI is my only major complaint with this vehicle. Thanks for the tip!
@@BrunerTuner npnp, I agree I had an A4 from the same generation that was my biggest issue aswell.
You should do a windy backroad ASMR type video with good audio 😎
We'll certainly keep that in mind :)
Why did the turn signal and fog light turn on when you were washing it? 😬
I had the key in my pocket. Keyless entry will trigger anytime something touches the door handle if the key is in range.
Keep this SQ5 content coming!
I’m totally split on trading my B9 A4 for either a b8.5 SQ5 or B9 SQ5.
What do you think about ride quality with the 21” on rougher roads ?
It's not terrible. I think 20s would feel better but I have no problems with these and I deal with rough roads. Switching to Michelin pilot sports was a great upgrade.
@@BrunerTuner Awesome, I’ve heard mixed reviews on the 21’s but the tire recommendation is appreciated! Would OEM 19’s fit over the brakes? Or is 20 the smallest you could go? I’ve got a ‘13 Q5 on 19’s and ride is excellent
I'm not too sure about 19s but 20s would fit fine
Hello you still have the car i'm looking into one 80k miles 2016 how reliable is it ?
Mine is still going strong at 110k miles. I will be upgrading some stuff soon for more power!
Do you still have the car. If so how it holding up?
I do! 110k miles and it's still doing great
If you decide to sell the Insight when you move next year, hit me up. 👀
I will be selling it!
Is that a S4 B5 I see in the driveway.
Yea we have a couple in the stable
Mileage when you bought it, how many does it currently have?
I bought it with about 52k miles. It's now at 108k.
I bought my ‘14 SQ5 at 65k, now at 118k and it’s been such an excellent car. Reliable, powerful, refined. We took a 5k mile roadtrip from VA to Colorado, loved every minute of it.
Wonderfully to hear this, these things are certainly far more reliable than I think the public would believe!
What year is it ?
2017
Mommy milkers!
dashboard could use a dusting...
Lol it never ends
What year is yours
2017
You guys should launch a second CZcams channel called DARR CAR
I literally have been saying if Taylor made his own channel it should be Darrs Cars
@@BrunerTuner and a third spinoff, Taylor's Trailers
I personally like Trailer Darr
Did you ever do the Transmission fluid flush/change (since you were at about 80k miles). If yes, how has the transmission behave after that?
We did, and the trans has been great since. There's a video up on the channel!
Pick up a dipstick if you haven’t already they sell them on ECS
You should check out our previous videos 😉
@@BrunerTuner Haha nice man I think it’s crazy they don’t just give us one. I definitely will, love me some good Audi 3.0t content!
Yeah I really don't understand, maybe they want more people to pull up to the service dept lol. I've got a bunch more stuff coming for the SQ5 so hang around!
