Max has ordered CONAN O'BRIEN MUST GO, a new international travel series from Conan O’Brien. The four-episode series is currently in production and will feature O’Brien visiting new friends he’s met through his podcast, “Conan O’Brien Needs a Fan,” where he dives deep with listeners from across the country and the world.

This is one of the reasons why Conan is the best talk show host and why he's so beloved around the world. None of the current prime time talk show hosts would do or can do what Conan can do.

As a Norwegian, I don't really care about all these late night shows, but Conan's late night show was something different. Conan just has this unique and honest personality. I was sad to see him leave his late night show, but it wasn't to end things. It was simply to transcend into something larger.
I don't think anybody worth talking to in the US cares about these late nite shows either, at least for the past ~15 years. Conan is very unique and has a reputation as more than just a TV host. It was very strange that he even got a chance, but it was lucky for everyone that he did.
its a good lesson for all of us in our own lives. when something big ends another door opens, even though its not always easy to see, thats what it is.

I couldn't imagine any other late-night talk show host doing all the thing's Conan has done throughout his show. Conan is so such and entertaining and charismatic person, that calling him a tv host is just a big understatement, he's an entertainer.
Nobody can do what Conan does. So stoked for this. Hopefully Sona was able to be in a few episodes. Their dynamic is top notch.
Maybe she can take him her place of origin. Loved that episode with Sona and Mila.

Conan's remote segments were always my favorite content from his night shows, and they got even better when he dedicated entire TBS episodes of him just travelling to different countries and exploring the cultures. Im SO excited to see more of this.
I love what Conan is doing and becoming, he's sort of like discovering what life is really about and just exploring every nook and cranny of it with humor and insight. Really interesting face he's in, if you watch his old talk shows you can see how great he was it interviewing and setting up the guests no matter who they were, that's very unique in the arrow that he was a talk show host. So he subvertly broke new ground in a way those before him hadn't. So I'm excited to see what innovations he creates going forward with his own

He's silly and smart and witty and self-deprecating. I love that type of humor, and unfortunately not too many people do that anymore. I chuckled more in that preview than I have laughed in years when it comes to other shows.

I remember years ago when Conan was still doing his late-night show, he was asked if there was anything he disliked about the job and he said that the one thing he disliked is his schedule made it very difficult to travel and see the world because he had to be in the studio and film the show every night. So it's nice seeing Conan doing all this travelling, since it's something he's always dreamed of doing.
This is basically his retirement plan, so happy for the dude and he deserves it

Conan is an absolute natural when it comes to meeting people and lowering their guard. If you've ever watched his remotes on the original NBC show, it is probably some of the funniest and most natural stuff you will ever see. Nothing forced and fake like with corden and fallon.

Hopefully there will be a way for non-US residents to consume this (seeing as the premise of the show is global, I would hope that it's available to multiple countries.... even if it is just via YT).

These past months I've spent a college semester out in Los Angeles and on my road trip back driving across the states back to New York, listening to his podcast kept me sane driving at night.
