To me, the most prominent difference between BTS and all other music acts in the past is their connection with their fans. The second major component is their love for one another. I'm nearing 60 years of age and love good music of every kind. There have been numerous great musicians and musical artists but none that I know of that has expressed verbally or in their songs their love for their fans anywhere close to what BTS has done and still does. Also, no group has ever stayed together with all the original members as long as they have that I know of or genuinely supports one another like they do. I've heard many of the members crediting Jin for the reason they have stayed together. From watching virtually every youtube video of BTS, all the members gravitate towards Jin. Jin is fun. BTS is fun. No group has entertained me anywhere close as BTS.
Not only kpop BTS are surely the greatest self made artist in the world for sure!!!! They literally started from zero and made it to a HERO >>>
I am an older woman and I really have respect for them. They are hard working and to dismiss them as just another Korean boy band misses the point. They are young men with grit and talent. They understand that they can use their fame in a positive way. They grasp that life and their achievements are not to be taken for granted. They worked very hard for all they have achieved. They respect each other and support each other. Kindness is a quality that should be appreciated and treasured along with acceptance and appreciation of diversity. It will be interesting to see how they use the lessons they will inevitably learn in the military services, good or bad. I wish them all the best in the future.
BTS was the only one who expanded globally. The second gen only did it outside of Asia and parts of Europe and a niche interest in America. They were not global, but international. The ones who took kpop on a global scale was BTS. There is a diff between global (BTS) and international (2 gen)
They were born to make history, they were destained to be there holding thier Crown as Kings, there is no words in dictionary to describe them, BTS is rare not just a boy band they owned the entire galaxy, what made them different from others groups are thier connection to thier army's, army's are bts extended family that is how bts has a unique foundation the strong band ,bts has army's kingdom, bts teaches army's to love yourself, be yourself,bts has authentic love to army's this bond is unbreakable,they are smart and very transparent, BTS just got a perfect formula how to Conquered the World,

I agree that BTS is the biggest and most successful group in kpop and they have a lot of talent. However let's be honest, while they are at the top in certain categories (rap) there are some (vocals) where other groups are better. Acknowledging this does not take away from their talent. No groups, including my faves, are perfect. There will be areas where others are at the top.

They are the best I would be happy if they were really recognized by America and I mean the Grammys.. I don't know any other group that deserves this much.. maybe they don't need this premium but it would be something they deserve..

I have never imagined that I would be a fan. I was never a fan. I admire singers and love their songs but never a fan. But with BTS I was taken. I am a Silver Army and a staunch defender of all the Seven Boys . They have changed the world and didnt even mean to but their personalities and music brought hope amd.inspiration to many. They have made history and will live on in the hearts of all Armys forever.

No those 3 group did not because the world would have heard of Kpop and those groups years ago if they had. No one knew them, they were not global artists only BTS have achieved that kind of success. BTS and BTS only.
I get that you love BTS. I do too, but other kpop groups are becoming just as well known worldwide and globally. There is no need for us to gatekeep for BTS or jealously try to guard their status. Other groups will eventually achieve that kind of success (Stray Kids among others are well on their way) and that's OK.
@@misspriss2482 I'm not gate keeping I simply wrote the truth. I'm not going to pretend they are on the same level. No they are not as well know outside of the Kpop sphere. Yes they are beginning to be know a bit further afield but they have a very long way to go yet.

For me only song for BTS or solo song of the members got to my heart. Try to listen to other but not get it. No idea why too. Every day now Only listening All over old new songs of BTS OT7 only never get bored. And love to watch reactions CZcams on them as well.
