    What about glucose if fructose is the problem? Sucrose = glucose + fructose. Dr Norm Robillard recommends using dextrose/glucose instead of table sugar/sucrose for GERD and IBS.

    Sugar/carbs 4 calories per gram. Fat and protein 9 calories each per gram.... you do the math

      It is not math since the human body is not a simple heat engine! It is WHAT THE BODY does with the food and carbohydrates are toxic that is why the body works to rid itself of them first !

      Food per se is toxic. If we lived to 500, it probably would have killed us. All foods are mild toxins.
