Hudson (not trying to flame him) but his ao12 is mid 12 and the average he submitted was 11. There's an entire 1.5 second difference and doesn't show the true talent of the cuber, just shows their luckier solves.

So I got sub 20 a bit late. Throughout 2018 my average only went down to 15. But from the beginning of 2019 I improved a lot by practicing. Went from 15-16 secs to 11 in a few weeks. After that it has been me grinding and getting sub 10. It took me 2.5 years to first start averaging sub 10 so yea. You're probably doing better than many people starting out. My ao1000 now is 9.6 and pb ao12 is 8.68 btw lol.
I have a question Mr Perm - the first cross you say there is a better finger trick but I thought you say to avoid B moves as first moves as when you pick it up its harder. I notice you start already holding the cube - have you considered walking through the solution then actually doing it so we can see how it all flows together from picking the cube up to finish?
You can start with a B move if you hold it at a different angle so that it's U instead. I just meant don't start by turning the front/back of the cube relative to how it's placed on the table.

Aww man. I am as fast as this guy with my f2l but i take like 7 to 10 secs to do the last layer thas why i average around 16 to 18 secs. But overall i learned alot from this video.
Here's a recipe I used to make: Olive oil, a bit of water, a tiny drop of liquid soap and shake. Put it in a small bottle. The oil makes it fast, the water makes it a bit slower but controllable, the soap makes it slimy and easier to break in (not watery) and shaking will mix them together great!
These help so much even if we aren’t the ones solving in the first place!
