Second question: I see in comments you recommend running beauty water every morning for a minute. Why is this?
Great video it helped me figure out how to set mine up undercounter, step by step. Please do a video of how to eclean under the counter, I can't find a video for using the sd501 over the counter converted to under counter cleaning process.

tengo una k8, como consigo ese grifo con el tubito que va para abajo? puedo conectar con el frigorifico? Refieren que existe algun problema si la instalas debajo de la pila que pierde presión, es asi? Como podrías hacer si tienes instalado un grifo que ya tiene salida para agua filtrada pero le falta el tubito inferior para la salida del agua acida? Gracias.

Can you share why someone would choose to do this installation instead of the SD501 under the counter? Is it because it’s easier to run the cleanings or is it because the end of the counter unit is not available globally?
So mainly when people choose to do a K8 underneath the counter versus the SD 501 under the counter unit, it’s because of the extra plate, and for the ability to be able to take the machine off easier for travel purposes! We are they come out with a new k8 underneath the counter unit which would be amazing! Hopefully the answer your question

@@alexissneed2158 they no longer send it with the machine, but whenever you purchase the faucet number four, you can choose the option to order the secondary hose! Hope that makes sense!

Seems like you do not need that faucet--just run the drain into the sink drain under the sink. You mentioned that a hose came with the faucet at @13:20 what type of hose and connection is that. Buying that, someone could use an existing faucet. Thank you for any help.
One of the advantages of a Kangen machine is that it self drains for 15 seconds every time you shut it off. With this improvised plan I don't see how the K8 drains. If the hoses sit full for a while without being used they will form mold. The warmer the home the more mold can grow. Even the filter should be placed in the fridge if you aren't using it for a week or more. I have seen hoses on our competitors machines full of mold because the machines don't drain after each use. There is a reason that this plan voids the warranty. Not saying don't do it but just beware of the consequences.

I’m well aware that the machine does not drain for 15 seconds every time you shut it off the same way the under the counter model works the water does not flow out it stays in the lines that’s why Enagic always recommend to flush out the machine in a beauty setting for four minutes every day to guarantee maximum Results!
And yes, I definitely tell people that it avoids their warranty and I showed them how to have the best results having it the way they want!

Great video thank you, I’ve been looking around for ways to install my K8 machine because won’t work with my brand new faucet in the kitchen and it’s a nightmare, thank you, I’m just concerned if I put the machine under the counter and the acidic water accumulating inside the machine.
Basically what I always do and I tell people is to run beauty water which is acid water every morning for about 2 to 3 minutes
And honestly I don’t think it Will hurt it because the one that is made for under the counter water sits in the hoses as well 🤔
I am interested in implementing this, but housing the K8 in a neighboring cabinet instead of directly underneath the sink. Do you have links to extender tubes and additional quick connects that would work for all of the tubes used here?

Is it possible if you can get the water from this inflation and test for orp and acidic water as well as 2.5 + 11.5 I'm not sure if this can make the water as intended because according to the manual the installation of the secondary hose has to be lower than machine for proper drainage of the acidic water if you leave it like this the acidic water once you're done with taking the water the acidic water will backflow back into the machine and there's nothing to prevent the backflow of acidic water flowing back into the machine Thanks for a great video
Yes, correct that’s why I always recommend people to run beauty water every morning… specially when you have made the machine under the counter I always run mine about half a minute to a minute before I start drinking the water. Let me know if that makes sense.

@@TamNguyenKangenStar so the 9.5 ph ORP levels on the LeveLuk K8 is. From -750 to -800 the 2.5 ph ORP is 1140 and the 11.5ph ORP is -850 to -875

I’ve been drinking this water for six years plus and honestly it has changed my life and my view on water and I would not drink anything else but Kangen ! And since I service a lot of these machines, I get people that have these technologies for over 20 years and I’m able to service their machine and get it up to par any operates the same as a brand new one which is mind blowing!

Is it possible to split the kegan water line so it goes to the fucet and have a line that goes to the refrigerator? Since i really only ever drink from the refrigerator, do they have a paets kits that would work for that?

In my opinion it’s very durable I have to k8’s I’m my kitchen and my office/garage and I haven’t had a problem with them !!!
You do not use the 3 stage filter system with your machine? We have the SD501 and are putting the machine and the 3 stage filter under the sink but are having a problem with leaks but if we hook it up like you did without the filters it is fine. Any advice?

Could I ask you exactly what problem could it give installing the Enagic K8 under the counter? An auto shut off for leakage would help to avoid problems like acidic water falling back down in the machine? Thank you
The biggest issue is whenever you’re replacing your filter or doing an E cleaning to this unit I’m coming out with a video, explaining how to do it the proper way without creating a mess and overflowing of water underneath the counter! Other than that, I highly recommend every day to run the water on the beauty settings for about five minutes!

Yes you can do that with the sun is the only thing that I would make sure first is the alkaline Spicket will fit the quick connect adapter that it comes with and if you have any problems you can contact me and I’ll be more than happy to help out

Why does there seem to be a redundancy in water supply to the new drinking faucet (blue for regular tap water, yellow for Kangen)?
Can it do without the blue/fourth connection to the faucet and solely flow through yellow which is your drinking water anyway?

The water isn't going to a normal faucet. You have to turn the lever to bring the water into the faucet and then it diverts the tap water back down to the Kangen unit and then back up again to the faucet with the filtered water. Then the grey is your acid water.

If you install the K8 under the counter it voids the warranty. It does not have a pump built in to push out the acidic water. So it will end up flooding the K8 unit and destroy the electrical components.
Thank you for your concerns I also install the Enagic SD 501U and it does not come with a pump either to pump up the acidic water and I specified that in my video!!!

@@mehdicohen Did you do anything special to the acidic drain hose ? I really want to install my K8 under the sink. The Enagic service rep in LA told me the acidic water drains back into the machine little by little eventually flooding the unit.
@@obijuankenobi420 I don’t do anything different the only thing that I do whenever I am going to replace my filter I drain out the red hose from the faucet or whenever I do an E cleaning to put there cartridge in I do the drain as well from the red acidic hose as well… that is why the SD501 U comes with a special bucket underneath to drain the excess water whenever you’re going to replace a filter or do an E cleaning and that’s what I specify in my video I’m gonna come out with another video explaining more details about it!!!
And as for (Enagic) I understand they don’t want people to install any unit underneath because they have the SD501U model
