If Marvel ever does a crossover with SNK, Yamazaki vs Carnage needs to happen.
Honestly, if SvC3 ever happens, I wanna see a stand off between him and Cody. Both fighters who use dirty tactics like sand and such, both hold themselves back (Cody with handcuffs, and Yamazaki only using one hand), one can punch hard enough it makes tornadoes, and the other headbutts hard enough to make explosions. Only difference is that Cody was a fallen hero, while Yamazaki is just a psycho.
@@tuipulotulavaka1757 yeah that is a good idea. Yamazaki could act as a representation of what Cody could become if he continues down the path he’s on and could convince him to try and abandon his endless addiction to fighting.
Yeah carnage is just born with blood of cletus Cassidy making him insane but Yamazaki saw his father brutally die in a terrorist attack making him so insane to the point where orochi has absolutely NO influence on him AT ALL.
He is incredibly strong even while his dominant hand is in his pocket 😆 Most of the time we see less than half of his power

Another reason about why Yamazaki tosses the blade in front of Terry in the CVS, is because it was supposed to be a taunt. The backstory was Yamazaki and Andy had a fight, and Andy was defeated and had severe injuries. It was supposed to be the reason why Andy wasn't in CVS. So Yamazaki tosses it in front Terry to make fun of it. They also had a similar story for Andy in the KOF timeline about him not appearing in the tournament, but the difference was that Krauser injured Andy for the canon.
He don't need the knife he has orochi power
He is already violent and deadly without the knife.
I was always told I looked like yamazaki so in my teens i dyed the top of my black hair Blonde/gold and dressed kinda like him
if they EVER make a KOF anime I wonder if CJdachamp would put Yamazaki in the round table of black airforce energy
When Orochi was revived, The Whole World was stuck in timestop. Except the strongest of Fighters like Kyo, Iori, Ryo & Kim who still had concious but couldnt move a muscle, So Terry Bogard sacrfice all his power left to conjure Ultimate Power Geyser that Weakens the Global Time Stop which let the fighter to be able to move and continue to fight Orochi & his Heavenly Warriors.
But not Yamazaki.. he walks around the timestop ike its a normal day for him...
Tbh I prefer yamazaki theme in fatal fury 3 the other ones didn’t have that awesome build up

I saw in some comments that the broken dojo stage (masters stage) in KOF98, Yamazaki is responsible for its demolition. please if you know about this if its true and if you could further explain, thanks!!!

Who is canonically stronger: Geese Howard or Ryuji Yamazaki?
Geese has chi control, excellent martial arts, and is very fast while Ryuji has orochi power, knives, stretchy arms, can resist orochi due to being insane from witnessing his dad die in a terrorist attack, can go 3 days without sleep just fine, and can pull things out of nowhere, etc so he wins
A question: Yamazaki is a yakuza. Does he have a yakuza tattoo?
I'd imagine he'd have a dragon tattoo Ryuji Goda style
