The ocean blue peter pen is one of the best writing fountain pens I've used. Would totally recommend.
Been watching for years. I've been wanting a fountain pen but never got one.
Now I have. I also bought some cerulean ink in one of those nice glass bottles. I'm glad to finally get what I want while also supporting a creator who's been a lovely presence for years now. I used to drive to work listening to your content-free podcast every day. Strangely fond memories, given that I hated going to work.

Likewise, been doing art with fp's for a few months now. Have 40ish pens and my black silver Pete pen is my go to for nice black/white contrast with Platinum Chou Kuro ink.
@@travgusmc I'm a novelist so I mostly do practice on paper with fountain pens. It's a hassle to rewrite things onto the computer so I'm reluctant to do any "serious" writing traditionally; then again, maybe that's a good thing.
I can keep my fountain pen usage isolated to enjoyable footling, and leave all of my anxieties for the "real" writing.
The black + gold ink drawing looks divine, really satisfying!
Next edition they should put one of your doodles on the nib

I got the first Peter Draws pen and I still love it to this day. This one looks like another fun pen. I have a different Navahlur with their stub nib and its the best stub that has ever stubbed!

I have not been able to afford a Peter Pen, I do long for one, but I simply do not have the budget for a collectable pen. I know that it will work wonderfully and I can see it looks fabulous! I can see by your drawing that it works as well as it looks too!
I do hope you continue to create these pens in association with Gold Spot and Narwhal Pens, I hope that one day I will be the owner of a Peter Pen! great feature video and I a msure that they will sell out just as the others have done. The caramel color ink (mango sorbet) is awesome.
Would be neat for an under drawing type sketch. Then finish with full detail in something else complimentary

My peter pen signature edition...is still a fantastic regular use pen...never ever dries out and with shimmer ink too! I love it so much. I'm still waiting for a peter pocket pen hopefully...I would jump on that right away. Oohhh dude! Can you imagine a peter sport!!!!?? 🤤

Do you have any inks you would recommend for it? I only have really dark inks
@@staby3956 I really enjoy inks with sparkle, ones with a copper shift from De Atramentis are fun to write with and look great in this pen (I received mine today). I haven't had issues with performance if I leave the ink in, but I know sparkles can cause clogging issues. Most of my standard inks are going to be too dark to be able to admire the design, even the lighter reds and brighter teals.
I like this pen, the shape is giving me serious Pelikan M400 vibes, in the best way possible. I might try one, thanks!

SO SO SO Excited to see your video. As soon as your great video was over, I order it. My husband is even starting to enjoy your videos. SO can't wait to get your pen. can I get the other nibs without getting another pen? Right now my favorite is the Monteverde Anniversary pen, came with ink and a pen. Such a very wonderful pen.. Will let you know what I think as I compare them.
When a drawing shows throough on the back I like to use that side, see where the marks lead me.
At the moment you showed the Dark forest and Mango sorbet colors I knew those two were going to do wonders together. Also, Another beautiful pen. Someday I'm gonna get one, I swear.

I was amazed how broad the Stub nib is on this pen, It's something I will have to work with for sure. Exciting to know that I can put in #6 Jovo nibs, even though I suspect they won't be as thick as the Nahvalurs.

Cool Pen, it would look really neato with a little led light inside, maybe in the future you could do a light up version.

Dear Peter,
Congrats on the release of your newest pen. I recently inherited a couple fountain pens belonging to my late Great-Grandfather. Do you have any recommendations for resources on how to get started with care/usage of fountain pens? These do not a screw or turning mechanism for filling (near as I can tell). They have a little lever on the side, which I guess is how you're meant to get ink inside. However I'm not sure if I need to clean old ink out or if I'll be safe to use them right away. If you have any advice I'd greatly appreciate it. (Anyone who reads this is also welcome to weigh in; I am starting from square one).

I'm thoroughly shocked and appalled!!!!! I'm going to start setting money aside so I can get myself one of these awesome Peter Pens :) It seriously looks so cool.
Also, Mango Sorbet is such a tasty-sounding name for that ink and I need to get my hands on some for non-nefarious non-ink-tasting reasons.
Also also--- I really love hearing about your classes!! I'm also a student right now and it's really cool that you're taking a figure drawing class. I took one last year and really loved it a lot! My favorite part was using charcoal with a chamois cloth to get the shadows down before the details. I'd be curious to see what you would do with that medium 🤔 Good luck with your classes this semester Peter!!
