As a guy who has never played the original and has no nostalgia for it. I would actually say this remake maybe the best game I've played this year.
All the filler content is terrible and the ending is completely butchered and is KH-level, doesn't-make-sense, meme-worthy.

I’m on normal difficulty and still can’t beat it
C-Flo normal mode compared to hard hell house is a cakewalk
I hated that thing on normal mode, cant imagine on hard mode. I was just bashing my sword on the side of a house doing 0-1 damage. It took me about as long as it took me to destroy a real house with a sword. =D I understood the elemental shift changes during the early phases but once the god mode phases starting happening it just took forever to beat the stupid thing.
This was a LOT stronger of a mix than I was prepared for. Probably one of the best video game lofi mixes I've heard. Amazing work @Rifti Beats

Man this is soo nostalgic! Late 90s till the early 00s I played Ff7 over and over again. Beat all the weapons, birthed 3 lots of every important materia maxed! And finally on one beautiful afternoon both emerald and ruby weapon tastes their Demise after soo many attempts haha.

That Battle Theme isn't just Lo-Fi, its a remix. That was sick.
i love this, ty for making it! also the longer i stare at this image, the more things i notice. the flowers in the field remind me of the flowers growing where zack fell, the clouds symbolise, well, cloud, and also the fact that zack stared up at the clouds from where angeal descended to take him to the lifestream. and then you notice freaking MIDGAR in the background. and finally, you look up and oh my god is that the freaking meteor!?
The picture used for this is awesome. It would be cool to see the open-world take on this aesthetic in part 2.

This is the best music, of all genres, I have found in weeks.
First off, I am high as fuck so don't take this too seriously. I was listening to this and looking at the artwork and thinking to myself "there's no way they could make final fantasy 7 THAT level of open world, could they?" and then I thought to myself how floored I would be if Remake part 2 on PS5 would be this level of open world and how incredible it would be, like the developers putting in so much content that you could play it for like 400 hours and still see new content you hadn't seen before. Goddammnit that would be so cool. Imagine being at the fields between Kalm and Midgar and actually seeing it that far away so detailed and actually modeled in real time like in this pic. Maaaaan, a guy can wish right?

At the time nintendo underhanded squaresoft in a deal so they partnered with Sony.
In the passed 3 years alot of that bad blood has been washed out.
This explains the early titles being nes or snes while the later ones aren't.
Infact Nintendo wouldnt see a FF on their platform until Gamecube/GBA, and Wii mk2.
Imagine this.... Sony started out a musically focused business, then discovered the power of games on disc.
They took away the cartridge crown and never looked back...
An out of touch company just came in changed up the whole gaming universe then dipped out and made the titanic companies who invented the market catch up.
