Many investors love dividends and will center there entire portfolio around it! Other investors mean while prefer growth stocks, or stocks that often buyback their shares. In this video, you'll learn about different options and why dividends can be such an important part of your portfolio!
Dividends can be a show of strength in the market and prove to investors that they are a reputable company to invest in! Many of the best dividend stocks have been paying dividends consistently for many years and some also have a fantastic track record of raising their dividends over time. Dividend raises are awesome on dividend stocks in that they increase your yield on cost without you having to buy more stock. They can provide a high return on capital every year after a long period of dividend raises.

Ya know, if reinvesting dividends was not taxed, i'd be all for dividends, but I find it more profitable in the long run when a company retains their earnings. But this was a good explanation of dividends, so I'll help you out! Keep up the good work :)
Sure, this is true in some situations but one can create a powerful cash flowing portfolio with dividends! That can’t be done though capital gains alone, unless you sell, in which you are also taxed. Thanks for checking it out and I appreciate the feedback!
