✨ ABOUT ME
My name is Duncan and I am a Maths Graduate in Scotland with a passion for maths and relaxation! I am an ASMR CZcamsr and plan to go on to teach maths at high school level in the coming years. I am very enthusiastic about teaching and to help me improve and get practice before entering the world of work I have created this channel to help people learn about mathematics at all levels all whilst having a good night's sleep.

Love it. I know this long-form content usually isn't liked by the algorithm, but it's absolutely wonderful.
Hope you enjoy the long style video 😄
Dude I'm going to watch all of your math ASMR videos until I watch all of them You're a great help!
The Matrices unit was one of the only units I *really* struggled with when I was learning it, I missed half of it and then tried to teach myself how they worked 😂 those Row Operations killed me. Thanks for the great Asmr!
Aw man! I can only imagine what it was like - I hated missing lessons on a particular topic because you would be very confused when you came back. However, matrices are very fun!
I never comment on your videos but I watch every single one to help me relax. Thanks a lot 🙏
i love mathematics and i am focusing on everything you do which actually keeps me from sleeping😂
Got this stuff for a Further Maths GCSE test on Wednesday, so it’s good revision, plus it’s super relaxing. Keep up the maths content!
Best of luck!
W another maths video. Love matrices
Hope you enjoy!
Hey, Dido happy to see you posting on this channel! I really enjoy your ASMR especially any of the education style videos. I am not sure if this is an option on an iPad but I have seen some tablet videos where the tablet can replicate a paper writing sound that is very relaxing. Anyways cheers from the states and thanks for all the videos and hope you have another very successful year!
Yes! There is a special screen protection you can get that feels and sounds like paper. I’m looking into getting some for a future video!
excited to watch this! idk this concept yet but maybe i’ll pick some of it up! thank you ❤❤❤😊
This lets me review math while I relax. Great stuff Dido!!
I can definitely tell why you would want to be a teacher. This vid is super helpful because I'm going to be doing this soon and you did a great job explaining it.
Glad it was helpful!
Reason behind seemingly convoluted definition of matrix multiplication:
Matrices represent linear transformations, with each column of a matrix representing a vector for which the corresponding component of a vector translates to under the transformation. Matrix multiplication is alike to function composition, and so the row by column multiplication and addition essentially takes the outputs of one matrix and plugs them into the inputs of the other, resulting in one composite matrix which represents applying the linear transformation of each matrix one after the other.
Oh it is getting better! Keep improving Dido
Thank you, I will
have my o levels in a few months.. this'll help ty dido!
Dido can you teach me trigonometry? I'm learning it at the moment. I think it will be fun for me to learn and listen to asmr at the same time
I like this channel because I actually get to learn lol, honestly I think I’m just happy bc my test got cancelled bc my teacher never showed up lol
i dont rlly like my linear algebra class but i will watch as its asmr maybe i’ll enjoy it now 😂😂
Can you do a video for three dimensional equations and the graphs they make? Ellipsoids and hyperboloids are always super interesting to create!
I think the background of the tablet could be even darker, close to black but this one is definitely an improvement from the white one you used in the last videos. keep it up, I love this channel! I was getting tired of constantly rewatching the math videos you had on the main one. And it would be nice to have a link to download what you write
Agreed, even darker would be better
Appreciate the feedback!
love the video, Im in a simpler math class so could you do some math from there? the mass is Algebra 2e and Pre-Calculus!
Nice, I'm gonna learn 11th grade math before 11th grade starts, my math average sucked this year
More matrix content please :)
Got my N5 maths prelim next week
Best of luck!
trying to review what I learned last lecture in my dream
It might not be what you wanted to do on this channel, but I have a suggestion: explaining advanced techniques for sudoku solving
Still no super thanks button on this channel, very sad. I'm sure I'll enjoy the video anyway! By the way, have you considered adding upload pings for this channel to your discord server?
😂😂 I appreciate the thought! And also currently working on it!
anyway to convert matrix writing into math text using convert function
Is this university level maths? I did pretty well in my final year maths at school but this sails WAY over my head?
I think it kind of depends on what level of study you do in your country. In Scotland you learn this in High School but you also learn it at University First Year.
@@ASMRMaths thanks man, yes I definitely think this is first year university here too. Whoosh - way over my head but brings back all the love I had for formulae and equations 👍
It’s standard in all university first year courses (titled linear algebra or vectors & matrices) - else it’s also done in A-Level Further Maths, and Further Math GCSEs at a far simpler level
Calculus next please 👉👈
super
HEY DIDO! what program is this called for the IPad?
It is called notability
I wanna get pinned Dido......Afterall you are my fav AsmrTist
