Yea, Karamo is supposed to be the writer and communication expert and when it comes down to it, he can't even do some basic damage control PR. I honestly never got anything substantive from him though. He speaks in cliches and as we know now, cannot do remedial PR or a smidge of research for his show. So disappointing.

I don't consider this an apology for a few reasons: 1. It was a DM. She needs to come out PUBLICLY to apologize to Alle. She had no problem humiliating her publicly, so she needs to keep the same energy. 2. All the fluff about being a single mom and small business owner...huh lady, that's a decision you made. But here he is with his own talk show doing and preaching the COMPLETE opposite. So I’m just wondering which is the REAL karumo 🧐
His role on Queer Eye was fictional, he's got no official license. He is not a therapist but a guy who took a few informative courses and likes to mislead people into thinking he's a therapist with credentials. Multiple news agencies have had to correct the record post article release because he makes them think he's a licensed professional and he's not. That's like someone saying they're a Michelin Star Chef because they work in a kitchen as an assistant. He's not a social worker either, that's his other lie he likes to spin.

Two things: I have to say Karamo is full of bias to help Chef Pii because she is an individual black business woman. At some point, it is good to support woman's business, but he didn't hold objective view enough. I'm so in awe of Alli right now. She handled that whole situation so maturely, she could have so easily taken the internet's sympathy and ran with it, calling out Chef Pii and Karamo, and no one would have blamed her for it. Chef Pii was out of her depth and wasn't just avoiding accountability, but actively running from it, shoving other people in its way. Her apology to Allie is a notable step in the right direction. Pure PR! She’s contractually obligated to not destroy the brand with her ill-timed antics. She’s still the face of the product, my guess is that she signed a clause or two that instructs people to stay on their best behavior. Everything she does or doesn’t do is now under scrutiny, since she intentionally stirred the pot. But here he is with his own talk show doing and preaching the COMPLETE opposite. So I’m just wondering which is the REAL karumo 🧐
His role on Queer Eye was fictional, he's got no official license. He is not a therapist but a guy who took a few informative courses and likes to mislead people into thinking he's a therapist with credentials. Multiple news agencies have had to correct the record post article release because he makes them think he's a licensed professional and he's not.
That's like someone saying they're a Michelin Star Chef because they work in a kitchen as an assistant. He's not a social worker either, that's his other lie he likes to spin.

Pretty sure the fact that allie is white and pee is black is the reason that the show host and audience took pee side and even put all the blame on allie when she graciously tried to end it with saying they were both at fault (even though allie did nothing wrong). At this point, I didn't even buy the sauce, and I want my money back lol. Karamo eradicated all of his credibility with that interview. Chef Pii was out of her depth and wasn't just avoiding accountability, but actively running from it, shoving other people in its way. Her apology to Allie is a notable step in the right direction. Hopefully, she continues down this path.
