Yeah. You can actually look at them plot and plan and access the results to try and understand the results and store it away for future use and modification. While not human, but definitely a sign of sentience in my book.

My late Border Collie had some very quirky tendencies especially regarding tennis balls and the bathtub. He was OCD according to the Vet when it came to tennis balls. The bathtub was his domain. If he was inside when we'd go out, we'd come home to finding him inside the tub asleep or curled up in the bathroom basin even though he was far too big. He'd jump up n down in the tub as though it was a trampoline - yes, scratched the tub 🤦🏼♀️ and when water was going down the plug hole, he'd appear from nowhere, jump in and jump about trying to catch or stop the water going down the drain. I still miss him. It's been 3 years. Dogs are incredibly loving and loyal and giving.
My best friend was my Chocolate Labradoodle Max, who I suddenly and sadly lost to leukemia 2 1/2 years ago. Above all my human friends....he was definitely my best!. R.I.P Maxy Boy.

One time I was driving my car and I saw a woman hit her dog, I stopped my car and verbally laid into this woman so badly and threatened to take the dog away from her!!! Hopefully she will think twice about hitting her dog again.
