Just depends on how warm it stays in NC is what gets packed into the bags. Especially as our splits come and go

I'm in NC too. It never really gets cold until January. Most of the time all that junk stays in the bag just to make it easy. Lol

Essentials would be:
1. A Pea shooter, preferably of the 12 GA variety
2. Boo-let-os, unfortunately of the steel / non-toxic variety (lead is sooo much better)
3. Waders with no holes
4. A duck call and ability to blow it properly
All else is comfort and convenience. Now that being said, we all carry a ton of shit with us that seems to get less and less as the season moves on

Yes that is definitely true. It's also amazing how much less I tend to need hunting in a kayak vs hunting in the boat. Lol
