Cheryl has been through so much I know I'm not denying that but I she is using it as a crutch for when she needs to be held accountable for her selfish, vindictive and childish behaviour. She is a grown adult now with more than enough time and money to receive professional help because we know her physiological state must have been awful. Yeah, Toni said her family got away with their crimes because of their money, but I remember Toni was also the one who took money from Cheryl to bring back to life the Vixens, so first of all, it’s Cheryl’s right to work with Toni on that. And then again, why would you even ask her for money if you think her money is that dirty? I mean, Toni is right about what she is saying, but it looks like she forgot that bringing the Vixens back to life took Cheryl’s money and now she’s selling paintings because she doesn’t have anymore money. And the last thing I remember is Cheryl wanted to donate her money to the Uktena’s for Toni’s family. Overall, Toni didn’t have to choose her family over Cheryl, but that’s just my opinion. Cheryl has tried in every way to show Toni how different she was compared to her family, she loved her to death and she wanted to give the Uktena’s her money to show Toni’s family she did really care about them and that she was not that type of Blossom, but Toni chose their prejudices over her. You know what? My dad chose my mother over his, when his mother didn’t want mine around him. If you really love a person, you would choose that person a million times over anyone.
And also, it looks like everyone’s forgetting how much Cheryl has done for Toni. When she decided to leave the Serpents because Betty became the Queen, Cheryl has given her a new gang, the Pretty Poisons where she could be the chief in command. And Toni did seem like she lost track of their relationship, she was always out there with her girls, leaving her girlfriend alone. Cheryl wanted to give her a house, but she didn’t want to live there and she left. Cheryl maybe got away with murder but Riverdale is a town where everyone is fucked up, so I wouldn’t blame it all on Cheryl. She had a mother who didn’t love her, she lost her brother, she lost her entire family and it’s not to blame it on her if her family was what it was. Cheryl is acting like this because of everything she went through and maybe she thought Toni could be the one she could be building a new life with but Toni left her. I think everyone in Cheryl’s place would act like that. Choni never really worked even if it’s sad to admit it. It’s always been angst and more downs than up. How can a good relationship work like this? I’ve seen Cheryl doing so much for Toni and for their love, for their life together and then I’ve seen Toni always trying to walk away from her. I don’t think Toni really ever loved Cheryl. Maybe she was in love with the idea of her. That’s all to me.

Tbh I love Choni, but Toni has been unfair to Cheryl this entire time jump. Toni's a hypocrite. Where was that attitude when she herself was taking advantage of Cheryl and swimming in stolen cash while her so called family was homeless? 2. Cheryl got Toni a place in Thornhill ( When all the other Serpents were living on the street. ) and stayed there after being abused by her whole family, just to start a new life with Toni and she left her.
3. Cheryl got Toni into college and gifted her with everything someone could possibly ask for in their entire life.
4. Cheryl gave up on her family just for Toni, she chose her over everyone else. And Toni chose her family’s prejudices over Cheryl. And if you truly love someone and want to build a life with them, you just don’t do it, period.
5. Toni asked Cheryl for money to bring back to life the Vixens and now she calls Cheryl out like she has the right to. She took her money when she was not financially stable and had to sell paintings because she has gone broke.
6. Toni came back after seven years and that’s a lot to say ‘ My family started to accept you, we can go back to be together ‘ Well it just doesn’t work this way. And then she came back pregnant and expected Cheryl to accept the whole situation given what she has been through during her whole lifetime, thinking Toni could be the one who would’ve been sticking by her side, she can legit happen to be psychologically fragile and weak. And at that point it’s normal to think you’re cursed.
7. Cheryl probably didn’t do everyone right but she didn’t do anyone wrong either, she has given everything to everyone on the show and she has never got anything in return if not from Archie who saved her life. And the only thing she wanted was to be loved back, if not from her own family, at least from the person that was supposed to love her, treat her right, and make a priority of her as much as Cheryl has done with Toni.
8. Toni now thinks it’s all good to ‘ Give her a lecture and get straight to the point to not have anything anymore to do with Cheryl’s shit ‘ But she hasn’t been there for seven years in Cheryl’s life.
9. Toni could’ve refused to take Cheryl to the dance off if then she acted like if nothing ever happened, she dropped it and left her, running away like that. She basically tricked Cheryl into thinking everything was fine just to break it to her in the end.
10. I’m not taking any side, once I was a fan of Choni, I shipped them, but I’m just stating the truth and it hurts pretty much since Toni was one of my favourite characters on Riverdale. I’m sorry to break it to you, because I myself think no matter Cheryl has gone through so much crap, she anyway hasn’t been the best character, but to this point, who could even think Toni really loved her? She probably just loved the whole idea of being with her.

Betty and Cheryl are different people, different women, different characters. They both had a hard lifetime, but still, a different past. Plus, Betty still had her mother who loved her, had her friends, had a family when FP was with Alice and Jughead and Jellybean all living under the same roof. She was able to go to college and to enter the FBI. You could say Betty is way stronger than Cheryl and that’s true, but still, they’re different characters. They were made to be like that. If you don’t appreciate Cheryl, then that’s because not every character can be every fan’s cup of tea and that’s fine. But talking shit about a character just because you can’t figure out that every different person reacts differently to each situation, is another story. They both have been through a lot, and that’s for sure, but they’re not the same person. Plus, Betty doesn’t have anything to do with Toni. The only time she had anything to do with her, it was when Betty took the Serpents Queen’s place, instead of her and that’s when Toni decided to leave them. It was her right to be the Serpents Queen, but she made it look like the only thing she looked forward to was becoming the Queen instead of having a family. If the Serpents were a family to her, why didn’t she stay? She would’ve become their Queen anyway. That’s when I started to feel something was off with her character.
