We went to the beautiful Boracay island in the Philippines on Sept 6th, 2014. This was a second time going to Boracay, as we love this island that much.
We stay at the Diamon Water Edge Resort, located on White Beach. It is close to station 1 and it is right on the beach. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel.
While on Boracay, we went zip-lining, Zorbing and helmet diving. One of my favorite places on Boracay is Puka Shell Beach (Yapak Beach). It is around a 10-15 mins motor ride from White Beach to Puka and it is worth it. Crystal clear blue water and not a lot of people. A great getaway from the hustle and bustle of White Beach.

I was there about 15 years ago and stayed at Niginigi noonoos. It really has grown! Still beautiful though. I might be going again in June.
Ya, I was there in 2006 and 2013. I saw a change between visits. Still a beautiful place... the sand and sunsets on White beach are worth the trip

Of all the Vlog I've watched ever since, the two of you are the best. This is a really cool video! Wow! More than amazing. Another gorgeous island in the Philippines is Palawan (particularly the areas of El Nido and Coron). You should visit this place and create a video like this! =)

Nice video! I'll be going to Boracay in a few weeks and I'm curious if you used the anti-fog inserts for your gopro during the underwater activities? I heard it was recommended but not necessary so not sure if I should invest in it or not. Thanks again!
+lOvingJrOck No I did not use any anti-fog inserts. I have never had it fog while underwater, but I have had fog while out of water in hot climates.

Amazing video! Could you please tell me what do you do not to loose hight quality of the video during posting it on YT? We have some good material but after posting it here, fast parts are like huge pixels :(

Thanks Ola Czechowska. CZcams compresses the videos for streaming, so they will never be as sharp as they are locally on your computer. I make sure that I upload HD video (minimum of 1080p at 30FPS) with a high bit-rate (16Mbps or higher). And when I watch video on CZcams I select an HD playback. Hopefully this was helpful :)

Nice video man' hey i was looking into buying the DJI Phantom 2, would you recommend it? Do you have any troubles with it?
Thanks Jin Thor. The DJI Phantom 2 is great, but I would recommend getting some practice with a smaller cheaper drone first. Or only fly in open areas with the Phantom. I have crashed my drone many times, resulting in a lot of damage. I have never flown a drone before. Besides crashing, I have a few issues with the Phantom. It is too big. With all of the accessories for it, I need a bag just for it. This makes it difficult to travel with. I like to be active and having to bring another large heavy bag just for the drone is a pain. It isn't water resistant. I wish I would put my GoPro in it's waterproof housing. And there is no follow me mode. Overall, I really like the DJI Phantom, but I am still looking for something else that makes it easy to bring and operate.
Where did you get the wrist band/strap for the Gopro 3 way grip?

+ThatCurlyTv the underwater activity is called "Helmet Diving". No, you don't need to know how to swim because you just sink to the bottom and walk on the ground. There is a ladder to go back up. There are also scuba divers that are watching to make sure everything is OK. But I think it would be better if the person knows how to swim, just in case. I don't remember how much it was, maybe 1000 pesos per person.

Used any red-filters underwater?
Thanks Christian P. Ya, I never saw helmet diving before either. It would have been cooler if there were a lot of different kind of fish, but it was still neat to try it. I did use a PolarPro red filter for a few shots. I was scared to use it because I did once before and all of my footage was red because I wasn't deep enough. I was deep enough in this video but couldn't test it since it was a one time thing. You can really see the difference. Watch the Nemo fish scene. One camera had the filter and the next one didn't. Wish I used the red filter the whole time and I need to learn how to color correct :)

Thanks Emile van Zeeland. Yes, all shot in wide. I prefer the 3 way over gopole in certain situations. I like how the 3-way is compact, I can fit it in my pocket, however it isn't long enough in some cases. Having a longer mono-pole is better when you want to get more of the environment in the shot, exceptionally if you have a group of people, you need a longer pole.
This is awesome! If you don't mind me asking, what settings did you use? I've seen a lot of go pro vids online but yours is very clear and the quality is amazing. Also, what program did you use? So awesome!!
Thanks Jim Cedrick Libut I normal always shoot 1080 at 60FPS. The final edited video is 1080 30FPS. I like to shoot at 60FPS so that I can slow clips down to get the smooth slow motion. I use CyberLink Powerdirector for editing my videos

Thanks cityofsleepinghearts. I only have experience with the DJI Phantom 2. I've purchased AirDog.com but it will not ship until Jan 2015. Also, if you want to wait, GoPro is expected to release a drone later in 2015 (guessing around October time).

Ins4neinthemembran3 I have the DJI Phantom 2. It was great until I crashed it. I don't like the DJI Phantom 3, as you cannot use a GoPro with it. So, I have purchased the 3DR Solo drone. Still waiting for it to arrive, but it looks promising.

Hi, how did you take such clear videos underwater? What lense did you use?
Juris Cerbo most of the underwater shots are without a filter, as I wasn't deep enough to use a red filter. From 2:18 to 2:25, I used the PolarPro red filter. I wished I used it more when I was helmet diving, but I was worried that I wasn't deep enough and that the video would be too red.

+Kamosele It wouldn't because SCUBA stands for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, helmet diving requires a connection to the surface, therefore it can't be considered SCUBA diving.
Awesome! The video looks so stable in the shots were it looks like you were walking on the beach (particularly in the beginning). Did you use some kind of handheld stabilizer for it? I get dizzy whenever I watch shaky videos so I'd love to know what you did. Thanks!
Thanks Lauren Tracy. Yes, I used the Feiyu Tech Ultra G3 hand held gimbal. If you're looking to get one, wait until they release the Ultra G4. I have been playing with the prototype and I really like the G4. The G3 is great as well, but the G4 has some nice new improvements.
