No guys I'm not doing drugs. It's a vent for going on depression meds. my depression has been get worse and I can't find a way to stop it so I've been thinking on getting on meds but I'm scared because idk what could possibly happen if I do.

Hey there Alex! I can say a little bit of what can happen if you are in meds, (cause I'm currently on meds) you can get a little bit more sleepy, maybe gain some weight, get shaky hands and you can get a bit more anxious, pls only get on meds if a prefessional tells u to! Medication is scary bec of some of the things it could do but sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't but there's always a little chance in trying and if your don't like it then you could stop ofc. We all are here for u

Some advice I could give is to check the side effects and stuff like that to get a brief explanation of what they could do and if you don't wanna deal with it you could try to find a healthy way to cope such as journaling or drawing or making stuff or something like that^^ sorry if that's unhelpful I'm not really good at these things but I wanted to try and help. And I'm really sorry if this isn't what you were looking for

Hey! I hope you start feeling better, I'm on mess for depression and adhd (it's a stimulant) and honestly I feel better, but I'm also not all there yk? So just watch out, depression can be hard for everyone and remember to watch out. There are some meds that can up your risk of sewer slide so be careful. We all love you and hope you get better, and I know I'm being redundant but please be careful.

I’m going to say this and maybe it’s not what you’re looking for but…
Please be careful.
Sometimes antidepressants can help, but with younger kids(as a person who is just a bit older than you) who are already experiencing a lot of hormonal changes constantly, adding something that alters certain hormones can mess you up.
I would look into seeing your family’s history with the pill (if they’ve had it).
I will tell you about some people I know that were on the pill(when I asked to get on it) and what it did to them if you’d like me too.

Hey, I don’t know how I can help but I feel like it’s be good to get meds but if you’re scared of anything possibly happening I would say to keep the pills away or to give them to a trusting guardian to hold onto until you need to take them. Hi alex!! If i could i would like to help you get on meds if your up to it. I was once in them and they helped me get better. I no longer felt like hurting myself and I actually felt happy without guilt. Yes, depression will never go away even after you get better and are no longer on meds (or still are) i still get sad at times and that's okay! Hope this helps you a little and please done fall down the rabbit hole of your depression. I can honestly tell you that all of us love you and none of us would want anything to happen to you.
