This is not Dan's father's favorite song. This was for Robert and Annie. The American Trilogy was dedicated to his father that had just died only a week before. He did not break down. But definitely became emotional while keeping control of the song. This is the song that Annie said her husband broke into tears. Then came this dedication to Robert and Annie. Dan is an awesome human being. You gotta check the AMERICAN TRILOGY! VERY MOVING. You will not be disappointed.
This is one of the many reasons Dan has so many fans. He’s not just a singer, he uses his platform to help others in need. Thank you for your reaction to Dan and this beautiful Elvis song.

The song that Dan sang in honor of his father a few days after he passed was "American Trilogy". I highly recommend it. It will break your heart as Dan struggles to keep his composure while doing a beautiful job with his tribute. So moving.
I watched American Trilogy on my 75” tv & Dan not only struggles with his composure but you can see his tears flowing 💔 I cried with him 😭

Beautifully moving song by Dan and a very thoughtful reaction by you. Please note: the song by Dan, The American Trilogy, is the one Dan recorded only 5 days after his Dad died. Watching him sing one of his Dad's favorite songs so beautifully with tears streaming down his eyes, will give you even more appreciation for him as an artist and a man. Thanks Sebs.

OMG this almost never happens to me, but as soon as he sang Love the hair on my arms stood up and I got the coldest chill I've ever had, this is beautiful, I'm in awe of this young man with such a beautiful voice. This is an Elvis song, yet young Dan sings it with much more passion and raw emotion than Elvis did, in my opinion anyway. My husband and I got married in 1977, right out of high school, we were only 18, this summer will be our 47th wedding anniversary, we'll be 66 years old this summer and I can honestly say I'm still very much in love with him.
Watching Dan sing American Trilogy makes me cry at the end. I lost my father years ago and cant imagine doing a tribute like Dan's just after he died. He truly is a special soul. You should have him on your channel and do an interview.

I also cry watching Dan sing American Trilogy as his Father had passed just the weekend before. 71 years of age and couldn't even watch the film in which Elvis sang Love me Tender. Sandy is mistaken. It was Dan Vasc's cover of Elvis's "American Trilogy" which he did shortly after his dad passed away. This Love Me Tender cover was done in response to a fan who had seen the American Trilogy cover.

No matter how many times I watch this video, I am always putting myself in Annie and Robert's place, and imagining what a huge impact this had on both of them during this most difficult time they were going through. What a tremendous heart Dan Vasc has to have honored Annie's E Mail in such a personal way. As you were commenting on the words of the song, it hit me how timeless the lyrics are. I hope you do check out Elvis's music, he was talented but most just thought he was beautiful, good looking, which he definitely was though that wasn't all he was. Love this cover, Dan is also very talented and good looking, and I believe him to be a kind n generous man

I love this one, but it’s not the one he did right after his father’s death. I feel this one is directed at Annie and Robert. So - tender. Edited to add that I wept when I first heard this. So moving. Thanks for continuing the Dan journey.

In January during the week of the 8th which is Elvis’ birthday they usually have a week of movie marathon in his honor!
I feel there was a guiding hand in that fan tribute by Dan - he usually doesn’t check his email, but he did and happened to read that special one, he was able to make contact with Annie and do a song for Robert and Annie… all in a timely manner! God is good! ❤

The incredible recording with Dan’s tribute to his father shows the depth of passion and love he brings to his music and his vulnerable side shows in the pain of his loss! An American trilogy completely speaks to his Fathers love of Elvis’ music and how Dan shared his deep love of his Daddy! The picture at the end of the song broke this Mothers heart and still does each time I listen to it! 😢🫡🧔🏻♀️🧡
These songs are so much shorter because they wouldn’t get radio play if they were longer. Meatloaf struggled to get Paradise By The Dashboard Lights played. Don McLean fought to get American Pie played. As happens many times, the “experts” decided that the attention span of the “people on the street” was the size of a gnat!
