  • A huge thanks to the super friendly crew for letting me film! Here I am proud to present the very rare chagnon rear load body mounted on a Volvo wxll. Not only is this truck quite rare it also has a interesting story behind it. You’ll probably notice the green paint bleeding from the packer and the truck in the Waste Connections paint scheme. This truck began its life servicing Calaveras County as a Waste Management truck but then after a little while Waste Connections took over and repainted the whole fleet. Than again another company took over, this time being Cal-Waste. Cal-Waste simply slapped their logo on these trucks and let them be. Most of the Calaveras rear loaders were sent to the Galt yard where they’ll probably hang on for a bit longer. A while ago I posted a International McNeilus rear loader with the same story, pretty cool they kept these around! These trucks are basically only used for annual bulky clean up so they don’t get much use. You’ll probably notice they separate all metals from the pile because they bring in a stake truck to collect those so they can be properly recycled instead of just crushed. Another interesting thing you’ll see in the video is this truck gets 2 American flags randomly thrown on it. Some knucklehead decided to buy the flags in the pile so they simply just threw them on the truck. Hope you guys enjoy it and a big thanks to the very friendly crew! Bulky waste is always tons of fun to watch!
