Badlands of Dakota. I'm guessing on the Pine Ridge. That would be Oglala Olakotace of the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ _(Seven Council Fires)._ I have relatives near there. Haven't been back to the badlands for quite a few years though. But, I read you saying; _"Shaman del Thunder Valley South Dakota."_ Is that something to do with the Thunder Valley community _(eastern Pine Ridge)?_ I just don't get the medicinal though. Not sure how fancy-dance fits into that. Yes, all dance is prayer. And I know; the powwow trail is very therapeutic... but in ways can also become addictive.
