Amateur-tip from my beef kitchen- if you don't mind a 5th ingredient and aren't diabetus prone, mixing powdered sugar into the peanut butter really levels up homemade PBC's (i recall hearing that this is how Reese's actually does it.) It's been a while since I've made them but i think i would do maybe 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of sugar for every 1 T of pb to give it the right consistency thats similar to the real thing.
