    divide 2/12 equals one sixth this way, avoid using points. Maybe, when dividend is given, we should use reinstatement for prior to that period calculation.

    You restated the 75 to 90 because of the 20% and then subtracted the 28 shares purchased. Why would u not use 30 in the first restatement and add 75?

      If he had used the 30 then that would have been wrong as that extra 5000 would have again multiplied by 1.2 and give wrong figure, hence 75 is used instead of 80
