- Today we will introduce the Hamilton Family - Part one; the second of the 4 main families from this ancient custom neighbourhood called SimsVille, started in 2004. Are you ready for some nostalgia? 🥰
SimsVille, the first custom neighbourhood I ever created and have been playing for the last 18 years, is slowly starting to get ready to be the setting for some new stories on this channel!
What an amazing journey this was - I can't get over how interesting it is to see where your families started out and where they've ended up. Especially with how much you focus on their personalities and individual goals. At the start, this seemed like such a strict and emotionally stunted family, and what a great and warm family it grew into. Really looking forward to the let's play with these sims ❤
Thank you so much! 🥰 They certainly did develop in a different way than I expected at the start too. There's a funny detail that I think is not in the video: When the 3rd generation was born I wrote down 1 character trait that would sort of make them different from the others. When filming this video and writing the script I couldn't initially explain why Jake would hang out with a crowd that was so different from his family, not from his point of view (because rebel), but from the point of view from that crowd. Why would they hang out with him? So I thought about it and figured it was because he's funny. Later on I remembered those notes from when I created them, so I went and checked those and it said: funny. 😄
I really love how there is a consistent factor in their characters, but they still seem to develop in ways I didn't expect. The development through the generations was really the most interesting thing to me too when playing them. And really hard to summarize in a video, but I'm really glad you enjoyed it. 🥰
