I too have a Narc mother. Yes get away now before you ruin your life trying to please her. I 51 and she gave me up 1 mo before my 13 birthday so she can live her life. Thank you for your insight and reading. I've been busy working at setting up my new sales space at the antique mall this month and had been feeling pressure from others to just load stuff in and do it quickly, to take advantage of the Memorial Day weekend. I followed my own process and what I had planned for the space, and it looks really good so far-plus the rent has been covered this month for my original locked cases on the first floor. The rent for the new space is almost covered and I still have a week of possible sales that could pay that and maybe make a little profit. The advice from spirit to stop hiding and show my talents is encouraging. There was one day I had thought to stay home and work on the housework that was building up, but I went in anyways. Not only did I make progress I spent some time doing a few things I had wanted to do, and I was able to purchase a new vintage mannequin that was for sale but not marked at a shop that was closing. It made me feel more positive about myself and what I enjoy doing that I stepped out of my comfort zone and met someone new that I had no real way of crossing paths with other than being out in the neighborhood while they were working. Wow this was great! Yes I do need to stop, eating poorly when stressed when I know I had physical and optimum health goals. The mucked up energy is I’ve lit candles, and wrote down affirmations - did all the things for amazing energy and then on Thursday my water filtration valve breaks and floods my kitchen and down into my basement.
