- Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel. This is a review of the Louis Vuitton Cabas Piano and at the end what fits inside. There isn't much out there on this bag so I tried to cover as much as I could think of. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to ask. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It is a great bag but I have to say it has some major flaws for sure. I sold it a few years ago and i don't regret it. I loved it when i had it but i remember having the back of my arm always hurt. If you do love this bag id go with the Iena pm.It's the same size but the canvas is softer. The corners aren't sharp at all! It's MUCH more comfy to use!
Yay girl. Your videos are back up. I bought this bag a month ago but just started using it on Monday. I am going to see if I like it but I really appreciate your review. I'm trying to buy smaller bags because of a bad shoulder so we'll see. Thanks again for answering me back on tpf.

Excellent review of this bag! I have the Mezzo and when I was looking for reviews on that bag I had a hard time finding one. The entire Cabas line are beautiful bags. The quality of the Cabas line was amazing.

I know what you mean !! When I first got mine about 10 years ago? I saw a lot of LV bags around like the Alma but I did not like that one at all it had the extra strap which I'm not a fan of and I think every other person I passed on the street had one lol .....I just got myself two new coach purses in pebble leather one in pink and one in a creamy white !!!!!! I just love them ....so soft and much easier to carry

I have the Mezzo and I love it! I can fit everything in it and I fill her right up. I bought mine at Louis Vuitton in Manhattan when I lived there. Also bought the large Bucket bag and the Speedy 35 w matching wallet. This was back around 2000 and they are still gorgeous!
I sold this one but I got years of use. I always wished I got the Mezzo

Bought the same bag in 2004. Loved it but the strap broke, as did a the same bag my friend bought a year earlier. In 2006 bought the checkbook wallet and the stitching is falling apart. Purchased a cosmetic bag, same problem. I love LV but...they don't hold up to wear. My sisters speedy all of the piping is falling off. And the cost of the repairs and dealing with customer service is sad.

I can say that I agree 100% with your review. The straps are troublesome, but it is so prettyI purchased mine in 2003 (can't believe I paid $690, wow the prices have gone up) Mine was also made in the USA the quality is amazing. Maybe LV will rerelease some day! That would be fun.
Yes!!! Mine was made amazingly as well and cost $800. They did rerelease the mezzo, just not the piano. I wonder how the quality was when they rereleased it
Angela Festa I bought mine in 2002, and I paid $690 too. I took mine to have the straps replaced last week. They were broken for a while. The SA said my canvas was in perfect condition, so I could also have the tabs and brass replaced, but I opted against it. It was more than double the cost of the straps! They will cost around $120 to replace both. I don't always carry this bag on my shoulder because one strap often falls down, but I like it in the crook of my arm. I'm 5'3 and the proportion is fine for me either way.
I didn't know LV was mass producing in the USA 9 years ago. I thought it was recent. Good to know.
I guess they were. I didn't hear about it as much that long ago but we didn't have all the social media and stuff to share. They were definitely made better
I got a Cabas Mezzo late last year. Made in the US with date code SD0095. I love the bag and have been thinking about getting the Piano. Im glad you made a video on the Piano. Its so hard to find Cabas reviews here on youtube. I just posted a video about my Cabas Mezzo on my channel. Great video!
I always wished I got the Mezzo over the piano. It was just too small. It worked good back when I got it but now I just can't do the size anymore.

I remember when I first saw this purse....I saw a picture of Angelina Jolie carrying it...although I think she had the larger size. Always a fan of this purse, i wish they continued this style. Great review and information!

i have the same bag proberly same age i never ever used it why because i bought wrong size i wasnt aware of the different sizes till after i purchase mine so it proberly will end up going to my grand daughter when she gets into high school. but i totally feel you on the draw back part.

I was not aware LV was made in the USA thought they were all made from France..I am considering buying this bag and own other LV bags and the strap falling is something that is quite annoying. Thank you for your review and video it helped me make a decision although you paid $800 new and they are asking $1000 for used was the USA bags much cheaper than the France made bags? Do you know if there is a difference between to two made bags?

I'm really sorry that I missed this. Yes, They make bags in the USA, France, Italy and Spain. Some people are really into Made in France bags but there isn't a difference. They are all made the same. The newer bags are having issues no matter where they are made.
I did pay $800 but that was in like 2006 when bags were much cheaper! My speedy 25 was only 495! They use to cost what they were actually worth. I mean I LOVE my new bags and I have paid for them brand new but truly they aren't worth it.
I have seen several of my cabas bag on the preloved market for really cheap you just have to hunt :)

Everything is straight from LV :) you can look up small leather goods on the site

Dear, lovely review. . I have a neverfull MM, while you know NF doesn't has a zip. i was thinking if I need to by a Cabas Piano. Can Cabas Piano fit in A4 document? Cus i really need a bag for working as well as shopping bag. you know.. Neverfull is not much safe....:(
Hi! I'm not sure what an A4 is BUT if it won't fit a spiral notebook but does fit an iPad mini. It appears larger than it really is. It has a lot of structure
I have this bag and I do like it ...but like you I find its to structured and the strap falling down all the time drives me crazy .....I like the fact that no one else has it that I know ......thank you for the review it was very helpful

No, I sold it a few years ago. I loved it for many man years...as you can see from how dark it was but I just wasn't enjoying it anymore and the HARD top corners kept leaving bruises on the back of my arms

Might be brass plated instead of actual brass. Mine is super thick and still shiny
