Jay just seems like a really good person, and those are hard to come by these days.
I met Jay at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concorse. I was taken aback by his humility and respect for everyone he interacted with, including me (I was 17 at the time, and looked it). He was truly interested in the car my father had entered, and had no other intention aside from having a car-guy conversation with me about Hispano Suiza and the car. He even introduced himself as Jay and shook my hand! Cant say that for everyone on the lawn that day... A man with a truly great character and an undeniable passion for cars.

He is VERY patient...met up in the Malibu hills riding motorcycles...he lived through my buddy fiddeling with our camera to get a shot with him. I mean 3 min. patient for a photo.
Jay was doing a stand-up show in my small border-town of McAllen, Tx and he was apparently just killing some time by walking from his hotel to a Best Buy when he was spotted and swarmed by fans for a couple hours

Larry was my father and I just wanted to thank everyone who watched this video. I really want to thank Jay Leno and his team for making this happen. It was a great memory and one of the last ones I have of my father. Rest in peace dad.

This was served up as the recommended video as we sat down in front of the TV on the 4 year anniversary of losing my dad to cancer, where we also got 2 very precious weeks with him from diagnosis to saying goodbye. There's a few cars I wish he had the chance to see too. So amazing that you made this happen for Larry. What an amazing gesture. Rest well Larry. Sincere condolences to your family.

Jay helped make one of Larry’s best lifetime moments come true just a few weeks before his death. I work in healthcare & see death just about every day. Watching this video made me tear up, my thanks to everyone who made this possible.

Think that was Jay's plane..? I've been a fan since his first appearance on the Tonight Show and he never lets you down.
The airplane belongs to JSX. They fly regularly scheduled flights out of a handful of airports. Burbank (where Jay's garage is located) is one of the airports they serve.

This hit me in the feels. Hard. My 79 year old mother is battling stage 4 kidney cancer. My father survived prostate cancer. My sister survived uterus cancer. Both caught early. Mom’s fight is harder, but she’s a tough woman.

I didnt even realize until I started watching this.... alot of if not most of the old gm guys didnt get to see this. my pops was a corvette man from 1968 till the day he died in 2007. So happy for Larry getting to ride in an awesome beast, he seems like a real standup guy. Although I couldn't hold back the tears at the end because this reminded me of my dad (ultimate car guy) who suddenly passed a few years back.
