  • Types of shock and their underlying pathophysiology made easy using this simple analogy. Great for nursing students, medical students, and any future or current medical professionals.
    Shock is poor perfusion to tissues and organs usually from hypotension and there are many different causes.
    The different types of shock include cardiogenic shock, hypovolemic shock, obstructive shock, and distributive shock such as septic shock, anaphylactic, shock, and neurogenic shock.
