Great Job! My father was the first Paramedic in Minnesota! He would have loved this table.

Great job Greg! When I worked in the Cath Lab I saw first hand the great work the Paramedics and EMTs do in the field. Your table honors their profession and sacrifices. Thank you!

Great work honoring very deserving people. I worked on an ambulance before I went to medical school, and I still think the most critical work is done outside the hospital.
I couldn't help thinking about your design. I would have been tempted to leave the slab natural at the edges, turning it 90 degrees, and cutting the short text at the short side with the long text along the long side.

Thank you. Yeah I almost went a direction similar to that but in the end thought this would work the best.

Great video! I love your work. I remember watching Matt make builds honoring the thin blue line. This reminds me so much of that. Keep up the good work

Looks fabulous nice job😊 you were wearing a respirator and safety glasses during this build. What no matching chairs or is this a museum piece 😂. I hope someday to be a Festool fanboy ha ha ha later st

Why would anyone ruin such a beautiful slab of wood with plastic that will look carp after 1 year full of chicken scratches only to end up in landfill minimal skill required.

Because we all have different styles and likes and dislikes. I happen to like it a long with many others. Thanks for watching though and commenting. It helps the channel

@@stlwoodworking i suppose I deserve that but I still enjoy watching, if makes any difference i think your in the top level but I still can't get over ruining the wood my father was wood worker for 56 years he done woodcut/carved cartouche on tables and chairs for the late duke of Edinburgh among others myself only as a hobby on and off for 20 years I find chair's to be my greatest enemy and tables my passion but funny enough chair's seem to be my calling 😄 great video all the same just wish more people could experience the feel of fine wood before it's laminated

@@Felled-angel I understand where you are coming from. I personally love all of it. I enjoy the wood without epoxy as well. I like to do many different things and I think that helps in being more open and available to a larger number of people.

@@stlwoodworking plus 99% of the time it's what the customer wants because they pay the bills but if I was to to get one I'd want it at your standard, funny my father was paid to carve a penis with giant pair of testeis swinging onto a 500 year old oak slab he said he cried to whole time he was doing it 🤣 but being young and having a family he had to do it the French guy insisted they were very big 🤣🤣 looking forward to your next video who knows I might just come round.👍
