    This is my build. I would like to say that it was a real pleasure dealing with John & Connie during the entire build & purchase process. John is very knowledgeable about every aspect of the Kawasaki Teryx. I watched his other U-Tube videos as well as some others from other posters and came up with the aftermarket parts that I wanted to invest in. Since Raton is almost 700 miles away from me, I went to my local dealer first. They were a real disappointment. If the aftermarket product wasn't "theirs," they would not install it. Well, RMMS doesn't not make half of the stuff that I wanted. Their loss! The 1300 mile R/T drive was well worth it. John's labor rate was good, and I could not find the parts he installed for any cheaper than his price, ANYWHERE! Thank you John, Connie and your shop staff!

      A pleasure to serve you, so glad we could pull through getting this color too. Can't wait to get some pics and video in action up in Utah.
      Thank you.

      @@HesterEdition John, sorry I neglected to add all of the complaint-free trouble that you went through to get me the blue one. I had been unable to locate one, but John came through! Again; nothing but positive feedback from this customer.

      Thank you, we really appreciate everything, I have to thank my Kawi rep for really helping me, it was right when I had eye surgery and he really helped us out by going quite aways to pick it up for us. Thank you for working with us on time to find it, get it and build it.

      Desert Dave I want to add some heat / sound deadening material too. Have you had any issues with your belt? I’m afraid keeping more of they heat inside would lead to premature wear. I also plan on adding the bandits to my T4 soon.

    How well does the heat reduction work? I live in Louisiana and a main concern here with Terxys are the cabin heat. It's always 90+ here with 200% humidity 😜

    I notice you said these aftermarket shocks actually provide lift as well- which combo would provide more ground clearance down the center- 1) these bandit shocks along with the SATV arched a-arms or 2) SATV bracket lift along with SATV arched a-arms?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Před 4 lety +1

      We offer both the Bandit as well as our own new line of Hester Edition Elka shocks for the Teryx's. The shocks themselves are longer which, like a bracket, provide lift. The shock IS the lift, with a longer shock we also gain travel. The combination of larger tires and the shocks you gain a good deal of ground clearance. The arched arms gain you useable clearance, not vertical. Clearance. And awesome crawling/trail riding set up that really boosts the capability of the already great package of the Teryx4 and vastly makes it ride smoother.

    Nice build. I’m 6’6”. Anything you can do for extra leg room in a side by side?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Před 5 lety

      The Teryx has great room, even for a tall drink of water such as yourself lol. One of the most common mod for long legged people in the Teryx is a simple seat base modification, where you raise the front of the drivers seat, it changes the back angle and gives you some more leg room. The Teryx has tons of headroom.

    I have a stock 2019 T4. I mostly ride trails, but occasionally come across big rocks and obstacles that I hang up on or bottom out harder than I like to. I want to raise it up a little bit and run a bit bigger tires without taking away the rideability on the trails. What would you suggest? I like the idea of the high-clearance a-arms. Will they allow me to bump the tires up a few inches on their own, with no clutch work needed?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Před 5 lety

      If you are keeping stock size or only a little bigger, yes it all helps, if you want a morr aggressive profile on how the clutch works that's where the clutching really come into play, you can make it alot better crawling with better acceleration. The rex can pull 30's with a stock clutch, but the clutching makes it better. Also try removing the front sway bar, really improves articulation and make the ride alot better too.

      @@HesterEdition Thanks. What can I fit on the T4 without a lift, if I had the SATV high-clearance A-arms?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Před 5 lety +1

      With just the arms no lift you can run most 30's as most are slightly undersized, if you did 2" lift and arched arms all 30's and with that set up you would have 15" ground clearance depending on your preload on the shocks.

      This looks so good. I have a 2018 T4 that I put a bracket lift on before putting the new 28" tires under. Wish I would have seen this before I did the Brute Performance bracket lift. This looks so good and probably wouldn't have the issue of the left tire rubbing on hard turns. May have to look at doing some upgrades.

    Are the stock wheels stock size as well?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Před 5 lety +1

      Yes these are the stock LE wheels.

    • @adriansmith4776
      @adriansmith4776 Před 5 lety

      I just realized how dumb that sounded.. lol Are the back wheels the same size as the front or are they 100% stock?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  Před 5 lety

      The stock LE wheels an 6.5 wide front 8 wide rear. To compensate and arch in the tire we run differant pressures, the staggered wheels don't have any adverse effects and work fine.
