Hi Dr. Lori, Love your charm bracelet! My older sister (12 yrs older) just passed away in Aug. Family is going through her items for her husband. When they sent me pictures of her charm bracelet I was flooded with memories. Memories of me playing with her charms. So my brother-in-law sent me the bracelet. The time frame of bracelet from the 1950 up. I am honored to have her bracelet and to be able to pass it on to my daughters since she had no children.

I went to Value Village yesterday and was looking at the jewelry. I saw a necklace with the screw clasp which Dr Lori suggested to look for. It had an indigenous pendant in what looks like abalone shell and other material. I recognized it had hematite beads since I also do rockhounding. I wasn't sure about it but bought it because of the clasp.
Turns out it's a double stranded Navajo silver and hematite necklace. I may even wear it myself just because I think it's just fabulous.
Thank you Dr Lori. This kind of information and knowledge makes for much better ability to find the treasures in the mix.

I always feel like I get cleaner with bar soap in the shower! But washing my hands I feel that way with liquid soap. Makes a lot of sense right? Maybe it’s all in my head. 🧐🤣🤣
Bar soap from days of my childhood, I recall the old Lava soap that was gritty. My dad was an air craft mechanic at Kelly Air force base and his hands always greasy, and Lava soap was always in the shower.

All soaps, liquid (Neutrogena since the 80's), French Milled, Local Hippies, Chinese Bee Soap, oooo! Kiss My Face made of olive oil, I Love t o bathe and shower and have no prejudice to try new stuff!

Wonderful, I don't know anyone who has knowledge of antiques like you, love your sense of humour too. I'm looking at my garage & loft to see if I could find any treasures found a afew, we don't have thrift shops, our charity shops don't sell anything valuable, they goole the items if it's valuable, ( they sell them online for great price) so abit disappointed lol.
