- Hey Everyone and welcome back to the Criss Karver Channel!
Soooooo....I MOVED!!
Today I am going to show you the NEW 75 Gallon fish tank I bought for my tiger barbs right before Christmas 2020.
Once I did... I noticed how much more sociable and active my tiger barbs were! I bought five albino tiger barbs, five clown loaches, two albino long finned bristle nose plecos and another gold nugget pleco. Everyone is getting along great!
My NEW videos will now come from this fish tank versus the 125 gallon I used to have. But no worries... I am in search of a much bigger fish tank to put in my basement and THAT will have some VERY COOL fish going into it!!

@@CrissKarver well, we bought a house in the stix in the mid west. If we get a generac installed I'll get another, but, as it stands I'm not going to put myself in a stressful situation. This will make u laugh, after I sold my last tanks, I told my wife if u see me getting another Aquarium, slap me before I do! December 23, we walk into pets mart...Dan, what are you doing.....I'm just looking....I 🤣

That tank looks great! I’d love to get up to something that large one day. I restarted a 29 gal this weekend and am considering making it a tiger barb tank. I love how feisty they are! I’m soaking some spider wood pieces for a few days and I’m going to use artificial plants that’ll make it look as natural as possible.
Love the tank and your stock, hate the plastic plants. Those are some nice looking catfish.

I realize that this is months after you posted this however, you need to extend the rails of your LED light. They will slide out to properly "stradle" either side of the aquarium. Everything looks great btw and lovin' the barbs.

The loaches are growing great. Nobody messes with them and they don't mess with anyone. It's a pretty good match in this tank
But at full grown will need atleast 125 to 150

Yes! Tiger barbs are my favorite fish now that I've seen you videos. I now have 30 barbs all (tiger/albino/green) in my 100 gallon! I cant wait to see them grow out. They act like piranhas haha.

I love Tiger barb's Criss, I myself have a tiger barb tank. Also they don't look like they are crowded in that tank, i have 30 in a 34gallon tank.

I have a similar tank- only its a 6ft 80long and my two synodontis cats are 25+ years old!
im sure you know but those clowns are going to out grow that tank as they will be over a foot long each but they look amazing when they are little guys.

Definitely my dream tank! And i love tiger barbs, but since my tank is only 120 litre I must limit myself to a group of 7 of them :(

Awesome man! I got my first tank. 110 gallon with 50 barbs. They’re small still biggest is about 1.5 inches. It looks great and you’re right they’re super active fish! Some of the smallest ones have died.. I have 46 left.. They didn’t join the school. They just swam at the top of the tank and well today was their second day.. Is it normal for the small ones that don’t join the school to die in a new tank? Also I have bacteria bloom. Milky water.. What’s your tips for crystal clear water?
That's great!!
I know it's very, very late but to clear up your water do a couple water changes here and there, add some Clarifier in and get sime live plants (if you don't already). Also whats's your filtration? I usually use a filter for double my tank size. Ex: I have a 65 gallon tank and use a Fluval 110 filter.
It seems overcrowded to me but so does almost everyone's tank.

Synodontus or sybodont, don't know what's the correct spelling, they are called upside down catfish as well.

What kinds of food can you feed them as a treat. Turkey? Ham? Sardines in can? Tuna in can? What kinds of food good and what kinds of food very bad?
I fed them canned tuna...no oil. lean thin ham. crushed goldfish. brine shrimp. blood worms. red worms.
How many would you recommend on a 55 gallon? I have 12 thinking i could use like 5 more
I would totally do that many! Barbs are better in numbers
I have 3 in my tank and one of them keeps attacking the other two...i tap the glass to get him to stop..other fish are tired of this attack as well.
If your tank size allow it, you should add 4-5 more. That should spread the aggression and if they are big enough, maybe the bully one will find his match.
@@ragnos28 75 gallon tank..i chased him with a big thick coat hanger and he stopped was so scared and stopped attacking.
@@johnnydeep1599 That's a great size. Like I said, adding more tigers should solve the aggression problem in a more natural and efficient way that you having to chase the fish yourself :)

I got this fish tank and stand from petsmart back around xmas. It was $500 marked down to $250 for two days!
