Shame on the international members for being in absentia during this speech. This is exactly why Bhutan should have stated the truth about being Carbon Negative in the previous Climate Summits instead of mellowing it down as a mere Carbon Neutral, for the, apparently, higher/super Economies. Bhutan's the Champion that hasn't been properly recognized and acknowledged.

I so admire this country and its leaders. I had the privilege of cycling Bhutan from east to west with my Son who was working there at the time, and experienced some of the results and outworking of their policies. Sure its not perfect, nothing is, but there is enough good to see that blindly following economic growth is not in anyway, an admirable or sustainable goal.
